The Easy Reader® watch has been a best-seller for Timex since it first launched in 1977. Since then, many styles of watches have come and gone but the Easy Reader continues to persevere due to one factor: its simplicity. Devoid of frills and fancy add-ons, the Easy Reader is just that, an easy-to-read watch that does nothing more than what’s it’s supposed to do: tell the time.
Timex updated the Easy Reader without losing sight of its simplistic appeal. This Spring, the Easy Reader will add a pop of color to the collection that is light in tone and offers a contemporary interpretation for women seeking a more stylish timepiece.
The Easy Reader Color Pop collection is for the consumer who appreciates an easy-to-read dial, but wants a touch of style to complement their wardrobe. The pastel color palette is perfect for Spring, and the premium crown and dial elevates the collection just enough without steering too far from its simple design aesthetic.
Several of the new colors that will pop include a silver-tone case with multi-color dial and white leather strap, rose gold-tone case with white dial and gray leather strap and a rose gold-tone case with white dial and blush leather strap. The new styles will be available in either a 38mm or 30mm case.
The Color Pop timepieces will also feature INDIGLO® backlight and are water resistant to 30 meters.
Choosing soft hues and accenting the right areas maintains the legacy of the Easy Reader Collection. If anything, the new colors will give consumers a reason to buy another Easy Reader.
A fresh, feminine approach to a classic watch, the Easy Reader Color Pop collection proves what’s old can be new again
