Not as basic as the popular Easy Reader®, the new Timex Standard sticks to a classic silhouette and simple dial to produce a stylish timepiece that can be worn almost anywhere. Two versions of the Timex Standard are now available: a 40mm case size 3-hand and a 41mm case size chronograph. Changing the date on the chronograph is easy; simply pull the crown out half-way and adjust accordingly.

Today, as watches become more intricate and complex, it’s nice to know there’s still plenty of room for a basic timepiece that appeals to a sense of understated sophistication. Even in its simplicity, the Timex Standard still has enough features to make this more than just a watch. The case has simple lines broken by a single indentation creating the appearance of a separate top ring. The crown shape has been borrowed from our first wrist watch and features an onion shape, fluting and our unique Timex emblem. The watch features 24-hour time telling, leather straps fitted with quick-release spring bars or a single-layer fabric slip-thru strap. They are water resistant up to 30m and include the INDIGLO® night-light to easily read the dial in low-light conditions.
