purchased this as an alternative to the bulky Suunto I use for triathlons. my wife loves the look and I enjoy the feel, size and easy reading of the watch. I tend to take this off before swimming or running to maintain the leather watchband but know it could take a dunking. So far very pleased with the size and look..stylish, comfortable, easy to read, reliable, Valuewatches purchased at a great price and pleased those who recieved them as gifts.
“A time piece's worst friend”

I am very hard on a time peice. I have a drawer full of stopped, broken, crushed, water logged, hand-broken, stem missing, strap ripped watches that over the past 50 years have gone through flood, snow , rain, ice, glaciers, deserts, oceans, beaches, jungles and mountains. They have had to endure vehicles from military tanks to motorcycles, horses, lamas, dogs, cats, a variety of reptiles, kids, a grandchild, and football playing friends. In my years in the military and the operating room I've thrown, dropped, walked over, run over, slamed, bounced, and in all ways abused watches in the course of my duties or actions without malice nor thought, utilizing it only as a tool. The watch I now wear has survived these weeks since Christmas and for a time piece it has been durable, timely (no pun intended) and comfortable. It is attractive (worn at a New Years Wedding) and has already survived taking down the outside lights holiday and Christmas tree, hiking, furniture moving, and my dog not to mention the holidays. We'll see how it holds up the rest of the winter but for now I highly recommend this model.
