    Cool Vintage Face, Great Price

    Love the Watch!

  • I was looking for a great field watch for about a year. One that was not only utilitarian but also good looking. As soon as I saw it and looked at the price I had to have it. I could not believe how affordable it was. I bought the green its great. When I put it on I realized it was much more than just a field watch, its very stylish and I find myself wearing it to work and out on the weekend. The only thing that may make this watch better is grommets around the holes, but that's not a big deal. It also took me a little to get use to the feel of the canvas, but I think that is because I was use to leather on my old watch. Again great watch!

I just did! My wife saw my watch and loved it, I think she is going to by your white Camper.

    Simply Great

  • The nice part about the Weekender is the simplicity of it. Big numbers, 24hr and 12hr, indiglo integrated in the watch. I think many will find it will be fun to be able mix and match bands depending on their weekend attire.

    Good-looking, affordable everyday watch

  • I like timepieces and have a handful of them. This watch is comfortable, looks great, and performs well for the price. Sure it doesn't come with a bunch of bells and whistles, but it's lightweight, water-resistant for everyday use, has the indiglo feature for when the sun goes down, and just keeps on going like the Energizer Bunny. On an average day, what more do you actually need? I couldn't resist buying such a great looking watch for the price. Nice job Timex.

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, stylish, Value

doesn't have a ton of features.

I like the watch I bought, but I have not been a Timex customer that long. I would probably give a higher rating in a year or so after wear my watch some more. I'd like to be a Timex customer for life, but I just need to see how this first watch lasts.

    Great choice

  • Great watch-- very durable and the ability to change bands makes it very versatile. I am very happy with the purchase.

When you just want to go "low key"

  • A well thought out design. The 38mm case width and 20 mm band width are perfect. Crowns have been way too small on most quartz watches; this model got it right back up to the perfect size. The lack of a date will bug some people, but that's the point of this watch: it's a retro-styled, pseudo-military watch, in the style of the '40s before the date complication came about. The band's a little short for anyone with a large wrist, but that's the beauty of a standard, 20mm lug width: you can change bands to your heart's content, whether it's a nylon NATO band, leather, rubber or metal-link bracelet, there is no more standard band width. The movement has a firm, solid feel to it when you set the watch (which is super-easy because there's no "notch one, notch two," because there's no date), and the red seconds hand is always a deal-breaker for me: great contrast and easy to spot quickly.

.comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable

Good watches at price points real people can afford. On the down side, there are too many 18mm lug widths in the line. Suggest you drop that and just go to the 20mm width on all the watches.

    Great Watch!

  • I have been buying Timex watches for about 30 years; they are a great value; they work well, last a long time and are reasonably priced. I will continue to keep buying Timex watches as long as it remains a great product; thank you~

    Nice Time piece!

  • I am very happy with the weekender time piece. It's very robust, and simple in design, and very attractive. It is also very sleek and comfortable to wear at a very reasonable price. I'm confident I'll have years of enjoyment, truly a delight. Just what a watch should be!

    Great Look, Loud

  • I wanted just a simple, beater watch and for that, this excels. However, it is extremely loud. It is to the point that I don't wear it to work (in an office) because the noise is so obvious. I have had this same issue with a Timex Expedition that I own as well. I don't know if it is QC issues or their mechanisms are just noisy, but just wanted to let others know.

    Beautiful. Not Water Resistant.

  • I loved this watch. I took it with me on an internship to the rainforest, and it worked great! However, we hiked on a lot of tributaries and the face eventually became clouded with water, then it stopped working altogether. So if you get one, know that it isn't resistant up to 30 meters like the website says.

    have a backup

  • love the watch but cant keep it together. ive had the watch for approx. a month and the pins that hold the watch to the band keep popping off. i had to replace one and then the other went.

Nice look, but INDIGLO needs some work

  • I really wanted to like this watch. I love the casual look, and it's great for everyday wear. However, the INDIGLO feature needs some serious work. I have had this watch for about a year now, and I already had to change the battery twice (at two different places) because the INDIGLO light drained the battery. The light kept turning on by itself because the button would get stuck. I've read other reviews that complained about INDIGLO, but I decided to take a chance and buy it... wasn't a good idea. After changing the battery the second time and having it die, I stopped wearing this watch. Also, the ticking sound is really loud.
