    Don't buy this

  • Looked like a good value so I bought this about 4 months ago and it worked OK for the first 2 weeks or so. Then I started having trouble getting a readout from the HR monitor. I changed batteries & used electrode gel and it still doesn't work right. HR Often conks out after about 15 minutes.

    Very disappointed in this product.

    Very happy with the Watch

  • I've used the watch/heart rate monitor numerous times. It works well and has many features. It helps keep me in the zone while training. I Especially like the recovery feature that measures your drop in heart rate after exercise. Spend some time to go through the manual and set up the watch, and then its not so difficult to figure out.

Good watch. Once you make a Datalink the size of the heart rate monitor T5J983, I will buy that watch too.

    Good Entry HR Monitor

  • I've had this for about a year. Used many times, both for training and races. Very happy with it - I got what I paid for. My only problem has been losing the HRM<=>Chest strap on occasion - but seemed to be low battery in chest strap or bumps due to running rough. I'd buy another one, but thinking about moving to more sophisticated functions (like GPS).

    Title

  • Like that its small as i have really small wrists. it's a little heavier than i wanted, but that's ok.

    too fussy for my taste

  • I'm a tech support guy. So I usually get gadgets. When I run across something that sends me back to the manuals time and time again, I know something is wrong. It may be the information in the manuals. It could be more concisely written. The watch came with 3 booklets, and they all cross reference each other. I want to turn on the HR monitor and go. Like my cyclometer- it knows when I start, it knows when I stop. This thing needs to be told what mode I want, when I start, when I stop and that seems like too much. Maybe I'm just being picky, but all I want is the HR info and there are no instruction on how to do JUST THAT- it's all mixed in with all the other modes. Again, I'm usually pretty good with these things. I even had my 16 y/o daughter look at it, and she was stumped. She figured out her new PDA with no manual. What's that tell you??

Performance, Size & weight, to complicated, hard for an old guy to read

    reliable products.

    Great Purchase

  • I'm new to working out and I was looking for something that would record my heart rate, keep track of if I was working out in my target zone and would keep track of calories burned. This was definitely the HRM I was looking for. It was easy to set up and if you just read the book, you will have it up and working in no time. The instructions are easy to follow, and I like the way it looks so I can wear it all the time. Definitely better than the last one I had by Sportsline.

.comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Worn all the time

I would recommend this item to a friend because I like everything about it. It does exactly what I was wanting in a HRM and I love the way it looks.

    Difficult setup and operation

  • I just bought this heart monitor and am very disappointed in the instructions and setup.

Please revamp your instruction guide to include ways to quickly get out of setup mode and how to quickly use it. Why can't various ranges of heart rates be modified also?
