I brought this watch in Jan 2011, Love the fact it has the 3 alarms. I have own other Timex watches like this but I liked the print on the face. Within 6 mths water condensation started to form. The watch face was unable to read a month ago and I could not get the alarms turned off. Finally just threw it away. Watch band also turned colors. Went back to wearing my other models. i think that Timex has changed the way they made this watch and that is why all the problems..stylish, comfortablePerformance, QualityIt failed to perform

I have this watch and love the fit and how comfortable it is. I got the same crack in the corner and didn't think anything of it. I just thought the light was hitting it funny. I went to a waterpark yesterday, since it is supposed to be a sports watch, and noticed the entire face was filled with water. Well, my watch now does not have a time on the faceplae nor does it work.
It is an adorable watch for ladies but the weakness of the watch faceplate is very concerning if you are an athlete..comfortable, stylish, Worn all the timewatch plate is weak and leaky

This is my third timex watch. First one just like this, watch band keeper broke after 1.5 yrs. Second one, HR monitor, liked it, but hard to change battery, eventual battery failure after 2 years. Finally, this one. I don't expect much. I want to run with a watch that is easy to use and use it for work functions, like keeping time. I think it looks great and works well for what I expect of it. Haven't taken it underwater. Would like to do that, but if it fails, I won't be surprised. THe watch band will probably discolor or break at some point. TIMEX does not seem to be concerned by the fact that they have not been able to successfully engineer a watch strap. Technologically, their products are unbeatable.
I have been a devoted Timex ironman watch wearer for close to 20 years. Scuba diving, camping, triathlons, and regular everyday abuse. WHY MAKE A WATCH THAT IS USELESS ONCE THE STRAP BREAKS? AND THESE STRAPS BREAK EVEN BEFORE GETTING MY FIRST SCRATCH ON THE WATCH FACE!!!! C'mon, Timex!!.featuresPerformance, Quality, strapUsed to be a '10', but I am beginning to wonder if there is a watch strap conspiracy. Why make such a great watch (with wonderful features) - then attach it to a sub-standard strap?

I have really enjoyed this watch, I run, and swim with the watch,time keep, shower, a slight condensation has built up over the last few months, on the watch face but I just kept wearing it, the moisture went away. Yesterday I had the strap holder break on me, last night the watch strap broke in bed while I was asleep.My watch is 15months old. This my 2nd timex ironman watch, I wouldn't buy again as they don't last the distance..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Worn all the timeI have had 2 now and they don't last very long.

I purchased this watch in November and compete in triathlon and do a lot of backpacking. This watch started leaking and getting condensation inside in Feb...less than 3 months old. I was able to dry it initially, but it continued to have the same problem in the rain/shower- certainly not at any 100m depth the watch claims to be resistant until..comfortable, easy to read, stylish, Worn all the timePerformanceI've now had problems with several Timex watches.

My husband got me this watch for Christmas 2010 at my request. I was training for a marathon and a triathlon and wanted an easy to read and comfortable watch. After using it for about 3 months I started noticing condensation building up under the crystal after my training runs. I hadn't yet worn it in the pool for lap swims. Luckily, the local running store it was purchased from was willing to replace it with a new watch. Less than a month after receiving the new watch, I went to our local pool to do some lap swims for training. About 5 minutes after getting into the water I noticed the screen was blank as if the watch was off. I immediately took it off, and once I got home I laid it out to dry for a few days. Unfortunately it never revived. I was very disappointed in the water resistancy of the watch. With the first occurrence I though it may just be a random fluke, but with two watches now having the exact same problem within months of each other, I question the appropriateness of this style for training or swimming use. Very unfortunate since it is a very cute watch. I received many compliments on it when I wore it..comfortable, easy to read, stylishPerformance, QualityDue to poor water resistance.

Great watch if you don't wear it! But Looks good on my desk. Not a watch if you do anything outdoorsy-I have large animals, so handling hay, animals etc, it will not stand up to it(the band). I tried everywhere to buy a replacement band and cannot find one. I need a rugged yet stylish watch!.stylishWatch itself is great, bands are another issue! I got this watch about 2 months ago and have loved it all the functions but then the face of the watch started to build up condensation. I was able to lay it out for a couple days to let it dry but the next time it got wet the same thing happened again. I rely on my watch too much to have to keep taking it off to let it dry for 2 days. I love the look of this watch. However, in 2 years, I have gone through 2 of them. My first one lasted about a year before the band broke. My second one is just under a year old and it just broke the other day....apparently, not very water resistent afterall.

What up Timex? Why no replacements available? Seems simple enough. I loved the idea of not having to mess with those little pins. I bought this watch because I'm very active and needed something that I could wear to work and outside during mild recreational activities. It was great for the first 2-3 months I had it, but one day recently, I noticed what looked like a crack in the corner of the inside of the watch face that seemed to come out of nowhere (it didn't get hit on something or anything like that). Then a couple of days later, I looked down and there was a lot of condensation on the inside of the watch face. The only time I wear it near water is when I'm washing my hands, so I know it didn't get wet enough to cause that type of damage. I took it off for a couple of days to see if it would dry out. The condensation went away, but the screen is now blank. I love the watch itself and all its features (especially the timer and stopwatch which I used all the time at work), but I am extremely disappointed that it stopped working after such a short period of time and for no apparent reason!.comfortable, easy to read, stylishPerformance, Quality
