“Great watch -- sad band”

I'm a big fan of Timex Ironman watches, and when I found the T5K026 model, I was thrilled because it's so much sleeker and more feminine than the other models I've had.

This particular watch has held up for at least 2 years for me -- maybe longer. In other words, I've had it long enough now that I'm not sure how long it's been!

Unfortunately, I couldn't rate the watch higher than I did because I've been unable to find a band replacement.

About two days ago, the little piece that holds the tail of the band in place broke. Now I'm unable to wear the watch at all.

Also, quite some time ago, the edges of the band that fit around the face of the watch separated from the watch itself.

Because this band is so custom-fit to the watch, I have had no luck at all finding a replacement for it. It seems like such a waste to have a perfectly good and functional watch that I can't wear..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, stylish, Worn all the timeproprietary bandI'm disappointed that Timex seems to be producing watches with proprietary bands that seemingly can't be replaced.

I purchased this watch 7 months ago and have used it mainly for running, swimming, and biking. It's comfortable, never came loose, and simple with an easy to use interface.

This morning, I noticed the watch was loose around my wrist and after a closer inspection, realized that the metal buckle had fallen off. Due to the one-piece construction (watch face and strap are connected) the watch is now completely useless.

So, overall, it's a good and stylish watch for a pretty good price but the strap will definitely go before the watch stops functioning..comfortable, easy to read, stylishQuality

I arrive at Timex.com all ready to find the replacement band for my watch so that I can stop getting stabbed by the twist-ties that have been holding it together for a week, when I'm floored by the other reviewers whose club I must now join! The band can't be replaced??? Ack.

LOVED this watch--but without a way to replace the band it has lost its purpose in life which was to exercise, shower, cut wood, do dishes, ride horses, and everything else with me 24/7!

Timex, please do something about this band--there are several of us who apparently love the watch but sure won't buy another with a band like this!!.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, Worn all the timepoor band quality, band not replaceableI recommend Timex the watch-maker, but not Timex the band-designer. Please make better bands that can be replaced!

This is easy to use, love all the features.The most Comfortable watch ever, I have not taken it off since purchase Feb.2011. I wanted a ceramic watch as a 50th B-Day gift, but couldn't rationalize the price,would have to buy on line. This was waiting for me at a local, family owned sporting goods store and better yet on sale..I have always loved Timex Watches since my first at age 12. Was not able to check FIVE WATCH rating due to web site glitch..comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeWould like to see a ceramic watch from Timex, nothing after checking all web searches.
