"This is truly an awesome watch all the way around. The functionality that I like and use most is the Occasion Reminder feature. I'm very accustomed to having multifunction alarms helping me out with remembering different activities, but you're usually limited to five (5) alarms at best. This Timex watch essentially allows you to set an alarm for every day of the year for different occasions. You can customize each type, i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, etc., for a specific time, and even from 0 to nine days prior to the event occurring. That's like having 365 alarms, plus three (3) regular daily, weekly, or weekend alarms; I'd be lost without this feature. One other noteworthy thing to mention about this feature is the fact that you're wearing the upcoming year's full calendar on your wrist, which is especially helpful if you need to know what day of the week a particular date falls on. I'm also an avid golfer, so I look forward to putting that feature to good use. I wear this watch 24/7, including in the shower. The only time I take it off is to dry it after my shower. Having owned a number of G-Shocks over the years as well, I can say this watch feels more solid and rugged material and design wise. I'm very pleased with this watch and highly recommend it to anyone who can use a reminder now and again for their activities!"

I can see where the band on this model might be hard to replace, but I've worn my watch for nearly 4 years with no problems.
Although I only use this watch on weekends, it keeps more accurate time than my Swiss Movado which I wear to work. My Timex loses about 1 second a week, and is simple to reconcile. And after nearly 4 years, the original battery is still running. How about THAT for value?
Furthermore, the Flix feature is handy if I have my hands full at night (like when walking my granddog) and the watch has numerous other multiple, useful functions: such as a chronograph with an easily accessible start/split button, a timer, three time zones and three alarms. Plus, the black-face LED read-out with the gold numbers is unusual and cool-looking.
I've seen a few reviewers complain about the water-resistance. Although I am a lap swimmer, I've worn my older Timex in the pool without a hitch. I love this watch too much to risk putting the water resistance to the test..Battery life, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, ValueVery accurate timepiece. Good value for the price.

I really liked this watch, it looks great and the face doesn't get scratched due to the 'shock' protection around it.
The only annoyances I had with it were that leaning against counters pushes the large start/stop button, changing the timezone. Also, the timer makes you set all the minutes together (unlike other Ironman watches which let you set the tens digit and the ones digit separately).
Unfortunately, my watch gave up the ghost at the 14 month mark. Condensation appeared underneath the face and shortly after that, it was game over. I guess it couldn't take a Canadian winter :)..easy to read, Rugged, Worn all the timeQuality, Size & weight, not exactly watertightTimex continues to be the very best in terms of watch functionality. Unfortunately, this is my second watch that has died just after the warranty expires.

Great watch, still running after 5 years. I keep having to replace the resin bands which are not easy to find.... and the only button still working is the indiglo button. But this watch has taken a lot of abuse and still is extremely accurate. I have only set the time on it once. I want to get another one.

Had the watch for a couple of years. Loved every feature of the watch. I would use it at work as a police officer and at sporting events. Never had a problem until I was doing work in the yard and washed my hands and the watch, only to find the face fogged up and the watch had stopped working. Took it to a watch repair only for them to tell me the watch was beyond repair for them. After reading other reviews it seems there may be a problem with the watches seals..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, Rugged, Worn all the timeit appears the face fogs upUntil now I have never had a problem. Overall I was very impressed with the watch out of the box, I have owned three previous Ironmans in the past and was hoping that past issues with the band durability and condinsation under the face would have been solved. The watch worked and looked great for the first year and then I started to see moisture under the face of the watch. In the past this would lead to the indiglo light failing. So far I have only experienced moisture issues but am worried about further problems. I like the look of the watch and want to continie with them, however i always have to replace the watch due to failure before I have ever had to replace the battery!

I bought this watch on looks and the fact the indiglo seemed brighter than others I have had in the past.
I wore it everyday, mountain biking, yard work, swimming etc. The watch performed great. One day driving to work I noticed condensation under the crystal. it took me a few days to figure it out. I had the a/c blowing on it as I drove. The condensation would go away a short time later. However, shortly there after I noticed the backlight wasn't as bright, the watch reset itself and now there is no light at all.
Bottom line, the watch seems to keep moisture out, but, somehow the condensation gets in and kills the watch.....comfortable, easy to read, Performance, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timedied after 24 monthsHuge fan of Timex. But, this watch should have lasted longer
