    Had the same PROBLEM

  • I had my watch buttons sticking and the screen would go blank!!! Sent my watch off to them and called two weeks later. They said they was looking at it now and would send me an email. Two weeks later called they then said sorry hadn't got to it yet but opening it up next on the list!!!! Said they would call me that week and let me know what they found, "never heard back from them". I then called and ask for a manager. A guy came on said he was the manager even after I ask him for sure and he lied!!! Come to find out he was nothing more then a useless employee that was covering for another employee to make it look good. After two months later finally got a manager who finally sent me a new watch in the mail and then wanted to charge me $18.00!! Obviously I was pissed and they can kiss my you know what. You want good service?? You want a good watch??? THEN DON'T BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK if you do and don't say we didn't warn you!

  • Save yourself some time and look elsewhere (I would have rated zero, but that is not permitted). Garmin, Casio, and well Wal-Mart are better options. I can honestly say I have never been so disappointed in a product (really company). I opened this watch on Christmas morning, super enthused! I finally had a GPS watch after months of yearning for one. I opened the box and plugged the watch in. Nothing. I called the Timex hotline, and they said to try leaving it plugged in overnight. I did that. Nothing. I even tried my watch with another charger. Worked like a charm. Tried their charger with my watch. Nothing. I called Timex again. They said that I should send the watch in to them, not back to the company it was purchased from, and that it would take about two weeks for the watch to be fixed and sent back. I packaged my watch up the way they wanted and sent it off by December 29th. About two weeks later, I figured I would call to see what the status on the watch was. They said that they had received it, but not opened it yet? Ok... Wait two weeks... I call again. Oh, did we not send the watch to you? I will put it in the computer for one to be sent to you. It should be there in about a week. A week later, I call again. Our records do not show any of that. We received the watch yesterday. It suffices to say I was ticked, but once again I was lulled into a false sense of security. Wait two weeks to four weeks and then the watch should be fixed. Well, after over a month and a half of them having the watch, I was not going to wait that long. I called back a week later. They told me this time that they were going to replace the watch and that I should have a new one in a week! Great! Only a week more... A week later I call and they have no record of that. In fact, they are now trying to fix my watch again... Well that makes a lot of sense. Fast forward to today. I still have not heard anything from Timex about my watch and I am now calling everyday, but getting no where. It suffices to say that Timex is by far the worst company I have ever tried to deal with. The next time I go to buy a watch, they will not be on my list. Likely I will purchase my next watch from Garmin, Casio, or quite literally ANY other company.
