  • I've had my x20 for a couple of months now. I bought it after much research of several activity trackers on the market and after previously using a Jawbone UP band. Decided I wanted to be able to immediately see on the device how many steps, etc., I had completed. The absolute biggest frustration is the charging. It is almost impossible to get the clasp to register with the sensors to charge the darn thing. Definitely not easy to charge like the UP band was. The second disappointment/frustration is the inaccuracy of the calorie count. Before I even take the first step each morning, it tells me that I have burned roughly 400 calories. That's quite interesting since I don't even activate the sleep function at night and have not moved the first step each morning. Unfortunately, I should have waited for feedback from other users before I took the plunge and decided to give the Timex x20 a try. I was hopeful that it would be what I was looking for in an activity tracker with phone and text alerts but it has proven to be a disappointing waste of money.

    Great gift for parent

  • I gave this as a gift to my 57 year old mother for xmas and she won't stop talking about how cool it is. She really enjoys seeing how many calories she's burned, how much light/heavy sleep she gets, and how many miles she's walked. Her absolute favorite feature is viewing her text messages pop up when her phone is in her purse. She's always worn a Timex watch but says she prefers this sleek design much better and finds it very comfortable. 100% recommended!
