I bought this watch and one week after using it the wristband began to turn green. I have now owned it for 3 months and the entire back is green and its creeping to the front. It was supposed to be a white band however it originally was more of a grey. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WATCH. It works great and looks horrible!Appearance, Quality, coloringNo, i am displeased with the discoloration i have experienced with my watch band. I also was dissapointed that it was more of a grey color orginally rather than a white like it was advertised to be.

Bought my first watch in a very long time. I got a job at a preschool and knew I needed a watch to know what time it is when outside. Also it had to withstand water, since I wash my hands all the time.
The watch did exactly that. The screen has no leakage, the band did turn green, but I dont wear it for looks. I also got my work discount because I also worked at a sporting good store at the time, so seeing it turn green didnt matter to me.
I do have to replace it know after 2 years of wearing it every single day because it recently started to give me hives. I have washed the band but is still doing it!.Rugged, comfortable, Worn all the time, Battery life, easy to read, Value, reliablestylishNot because I used to work for a sporting goods store and I sold Timex. But after wearing mine for 730 days in a row, it hasnt failed me yet. I always had people come back and say they love their timex. Its a great reliable watch!

Review:

First of all, I LOVE THE DESIGN! I LOVE having a sports watch that is so sleek and pretty (gray with purple flowers) that I can wear it all the time! I receive compliments on it frequently! I love how light and dainty the watch is and I love how cool it is while wearing it. It doesn't make me sweat and it also doesn't stay wet after swimming like the old velcro style.

BUT (hence the reason for the low rating), the watch band is so poor that it discolored (and not where sweat touches) AND, here's the big problem, the band itself is breaking (like ripping apart). The band is made of some sort of rubbery material, which makes it light and cool, but unfortunately, not strong enough for daily wear. I've only had this watch about six months and it broke. They've had so many problems with the band that you have to send your watch back and they'll replace it (you can't just order a new band). I bought the extended warranty but it doesn't cover bands. So now I have to spend the $10 to get it fixed. In their defense they said they're just replacing the entire watch for $10, but still I think that's almost wasteful and won't fix the problem unless they construct the band out of something else.
