my 3rd or 4th Timex Ironman. The others didn't have great straps either. Overall a good watch IF it is possible to get replacement bands.
I have tried everywhere I can to buy a replacement band for product Item No. T5K1559J but no luck. Timex, the number you have provided to other reviewers is a US toll free - is there a number your international customers can call? I know your price point encourages folks to just buy another watch, but if you're going to do that then give us a 30% discount so long as we trade in our old ones - RECYCLE!
The countdown repeat function is a favourite of mine - this could be even better [and maybe commercially take advantage of the cross-fit craze?] if there was more variability to this - eg - CDR and a Rest period - I reckon that would be a pretty killer app. Nobody really doing that.
Maybe you heard it here first "launching the Times IRONMAN Crossfit"?!
Now about that strap...?.comfortable, Battery life, ValueQuality, band perishes / breaksgood price point, reasonable functionality. annoyed by the quality of the strrap though. please see my comments on potential enhancements as well as recycle/exchange policies.

Don't buy this watch. Had mine just a few months and lightly bumped my wrist against the back of a chair and the watch band became disconnected. It looked like it could be easily pushed back in with no problem but that was not the case. It's constantly coming apart which makes the watch basically useless.
I'm sorry I made this purchase. I tried to see if I could buy a replacement band but no one carries them..Battery life, comfortable, stylishPerformance, Quality, Value, watch bandBand fell apart and replacement could not be found.

I've had this watch 2 months. The band broke, it mounts using 4 tiny screws, and the watch does not have normal watch pin mounts. I have not been able to find a replacement band for it, given the unique method the band needs to be mounted on the watch. Therefore, I now have a fairly useless pocket watch.
I've generally been VERY happy with Timex Ironman watches - they've lasted years. But not this one. Stay away from it..comfortable, easy to readdoesn't last, cannot replace bandI've had this watch 2 months. The band broke and it cannot be replaced as it mounts using 4 tiny screws, and the watch does not have normal watch pin mounts and I cannot find a repalcement band online anywhere. I now have a fairly useless pocket watch.

As a Timex loyalist, I'm not surprised that this watch is a good one. In fact, I liked it so much that I bought two... my son liked the way my first one looked and it's functions and asked me if he could have it! Of course, I said yes and he's worn it every day since (he's 9 years old). Timex makes the BEST sport watches period!! I've tried other brands and none come close in terms of price--comfort and features. I use multiple features of my watch daily and it never fails or malfunctions------don't waste your time trying the others!!!
