“so so product, great service”

I have had this watch four times now, and each time i've shipped in my old one with whatever was wrong with it and only once have the folks at Timex sent me the same watch, each other time it has been a newer and better watch, this latest iteration seems much sturdier. The only problem is that for the same price you can get a solar powered watch that synchronizes with the atomic clock in Colorado Springs every night and the band is made out of some indestructible material and the watch its self is capable of tremendous SHOCK, G.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, stylishQuality, ValueYour product support has always been stellar but with the dozens of Timex watches i've owned, not one (band) has lasted me over one year. My trusty G.Shock has been through hell and still performs like a champ. It was a really bad idea to make it impossible to replace the bands on the triathlons.

I had to replace my first of this item because the store could not get the back closed after replacing batteries. Store issue not the watch. Same issue with the replacement from the same store over a year later. Gave up on the store and purchased a new watch direct from TIMEX. New watch has an improved back for easy on/off to change batteries. Maybe the store wasn't all the previous problem. However Timex has fixed the problem on the new watch same model and fetures.
I need this watch to show my local time using the analog hands portion and the Digital portion is set to GMT time which is what I use with my Ham Radio Contact log. This watch matches the Atomic clock for time keeping for over a year before the batteries needed to tbe replaced.
Sturdy band, case and electronics. Takes all kinds of hits and just keeps on Ticking !!.Rugged, Performance, comfortable, Worn all the time, Battery life, easy to read, reliable, Value, set and forget, sturdy band takes a little getting used to but get, s comfortable in a short time.band on early model was sub standard for comfort., new band has fixed issueIn my 65 years of wearing a watch, the ones I kept and used the most were TIMEX. To this day I count on my Timex.

Review:

I purchased this watch and was very happy with the watch about 2 years ago. Now my watch band has become brittle and has broken. I have no way of replacing the watch band even though the watch is perfectaly good time keeper. This is a very bad design factor. What do I do now?The watch itself is great but now how do I wear it.

“Useful dual display”

Review:

This is the third in a series that I have had. I like the dual display because I need a second hand to measure heart rates and respirations. The digital is for the rest of my life. The watch is comfortable and easy to use. I have 2 dislikes-the battery life is OK but whenever I replace a battery I have some sort of problem and they do not last as long as the original battery. The 2nd problem is that there is no longer a women's version of this watch. My kids call my watch a hockey puck because it looks so large on my wrist. I would love to see Timex return to offering a scaled down women's or small wrist version. Otherwise this is a perfect watch.Rugged, Performance, Worn all the time, easy to read, Value, reliableBattery life, Size & weightdual time display-DO NOT STOP MAKING THIS WATCH AND ADD A WOMEN'S OR SMALL WRIST VERSION PLEASE

Review:

I am very disappointed with only one feature of my much loved Triathlon watch. The watch band.Brittle & broken. The cost of replacing it is more than half the cost of a new watch.I understand this is a common problem world wide. Not happy Timex.Fantastic watch very disappointing.I don't want to bin it but that will happen if I can't source a replacement band..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, stylish, Value, Worn all the timebrittle watchbandQuality of mechanism, style & reliability.

My only grip with the watch is the white Iron Man logo. When looking at the watch, the is eye is immediately drawn to the logo. The logo looks like a minute hand at first glance. Very annoying.

My old Timex watch finally bit the dust and I felt it was time to upgrade. After browsing the site for awhile I came across this watch and didn't look any further.

I love having both the analog and digital parts and this might sound silly but I love the buttons on this watch! They're super easy to press and always responsive (I can't say the same of my old one)..easy to read, Performance, reliable, Worn all the timeSize & weightI have loved every Timex watch I have had!

“My favorite watch as a nurse”

Review:

I love the dual display. Have had a couple of strictly analog or digital watches before buying an earlier model of this watch. I agree with the other nurse posting here: it's difficult to count heart rate, respirations, etc. when you're counting in your head and different digital numbers are showing on the watch face. That's where the analog hands are useful. I also like the timers, alarms, etc. Between this and my iPhone's clock functions. I can time everything to the second during patient care.

Downside: digital display function died; multiple battery replacements; watchband breaking (even several rounds of super glue failed to hold for long.

Time to order the replacement. I think I got a good five years or so's use out of this watch.

“Warranty time-X”

Review:

I had a previous version of this watch that never had an issue except the band tore and it wasn't replaceable (all one piece). Glad to find a similar watch because I really like the style of analog with digital background. Unfortunately it has been unreliable. The mode button works when it wants to. Since I don't use it often except for time it wasn't that bad. But when I did want the chrono or timer and couldn't get the watch to switch modes I was rather upset (P'd off actually). Then daylight savings came a couple weeks ago and I pulled out the button to change the analog (hands) and the button came all the way out. Sending it in for warranty tomorrow 3/25/13. Will finalize review with comes back from times.
