“The Best of Both Worlds”

What an awesome watch this is! To quote Hanna Montana (my daughter is a fan), you get the “best of both worlds” in that you have a very sharp, dressy looking watch that can efficiently hide its digital functionality with the touch of a button. To bring the digital display back to life, you simply push any button (other than Indiglo) and you have at your command a digital display that is actually large enough to read behind the analog hands (a quality rarely found among ana-digi’s). While this carries the standard Ironman functional qualities like a chronograph and specialized loop timer, this also has two (2) unique alarms usually found in a Casio, i.e. multi-function. You can set both the day and month for a particular alarm which makes the alarm feature especially useful and powerful. This watch uses two (2) batteries so you essentially have two (2) separate and distinct watches in one. If one should happen to die on you, odds are the other will stay running for some time (the digital function uses a lithium, while the analog relies on a silver oxide). I signed up for the lifetime battery club with mine, so I can change the batteries whenever I want, as frequently as I want; this is especially useful if you want a fresh set of batteries before heading out on vacation! The only downside of this watch, or thing that could be improved in my humble opinion, is that the “Set” button is shared with the Indiglo feature. This means that Indiglo is activated whenever you need to set the watch, the timer, or an alarm. However, if you’re a member of the lifetime battery club, this is really no issue at all. I highly recommend this watch.
