Review:

Do not normally wear watches but I needed something to keep time at my daughter's soccer games and I found this. Comfortable and easy to use. I just wish the display was a bit bigger. I have had Ironman watches in the past and found them to be a good value.

Years ago after returning my expensive Heuer Chronograph several times for repair (under warranty) I swore I would only buy "throwaway" watches again. I have owned several Timex Ironman Watches, including this one, and the problem I have is I can't throw them away. I just replace the battery and keep on going. For the money you just can't beat them, and if you do, you just go get another one. The only reason I buy a new one is if I want to update, or change colors, and then I donate my old one to charity so someone else can get some more use out of it.

I loved this watch, then the band broke. I took the watch back to the store where I bought it and was told that this watch can not have the band replaced because of the way it is attached. Don't buy because it will only last a few months....band cant be replacedGood but missing one star because some watches can't have the band replaced.

Review:

I used the IM model for over 20 years and still the best. The problem with this particular model is the strap. It retains perspiration and water after a swim, and after a few months the Velcro doesn't hold when you push off the wall in a swim. In my watch, the silver paint came off the watch face. Good ones is that still works like the first day (after 4 years). I replace the strap for a tradition palstic one, but eventually it breaks too.

Have had to replace the velcro band twice, but Timex makes it easy to do. Indiglo is a little dark to read..comfortable, easy to read, reliable, Rugged, Value, Worn all the timeVery functional and comfortable
