“Nice watch, not-so-nice band”

I really like this watch. It's a nice improvement from earlier Ironman versions. This one is easy to read and easy to use. It also costs less than many watches with comparable features.
However, I did not have good luck with the watchband. The piece that holds the band down broke not too long after I got the watch, so the extra length of band would flap around. About a year later, the band itself broke. I couldn't find a replacement in the stores, so I ended up ordering online..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, Valuewatch band life spanI think that Timex watches give you a good mix of quality, comfort, and style for a lower price than many other watches.

I bought a Timex Ironman 30-lap full(#T5E9319J)in July, 2008. I used it in an indoor lap pool many times without any problems. However, I went swimming in the ocean in Oct.,2009 and within an hour the face went blank and the watch hasn't worked since. I would NOT recommend this watch, unless the water resistance feature is improved..easy to read, stylish, Worn all the timenot water resistantNot at this time due to problems with my watch.

I loved this watch up until I started swimming with it in the pool and the ocean. After I wore it during a triathlon last September, condensation fills the inside of the face everytime I hit the water. Makes it difficult to read.
athough I do think its a great watch......I'm not sure I can reccommend it due to this faulty issue..comfortable, easy to read, reliable, Rugged, Valuewater resistant

I use to own casio watches...but i got discouraged with them and went to the timex...the display is bigger for and old guy, and the batteries last longer and the batteries are easy to change, i love that the back of the watch tells you the battery needed..great watch

My watch stopped working after swimming in the ocean. Although it is supposed to be waterproof to 100M, I never went deeper than 2M with it..comfortable, easy to read, Worn all the timenot waterproofI've had several Timex watches and have loved them all but unhappy that I had my last watch only 6months before it stopped working.

Bought this watch for work and active wear, durable and easy to use. This is my third timex of this type. The other two were beat when I gave up on them. Cheaper to buy a new one than find a new band and batteries. I'm sure I'll be ready for another one in a few years!

i've swam with this watch every week for weeks and it has held up. water does tend to get in the buttons but you just have to push the buttons a few time and the water will come out. it doesnt screw up the watch. i like how you have the option to beep or not so it doesnt annoy the people around you like my 1440 sports watch did
