    I love this watch

  • I'm a flight attendant who flies int'l, and the time changes are soooooo easy with this watch! It keeps up with 3 time zones with the push of a button to switch among them. I agree that the band is cheesy and the watch doesn't look fashionable, but its functions are awesome.

Cheap and reliable. I depend upon my Timex for work.

    Ironman #0023 30-Lap Flux watch

  • Back to Timex, again and again! When watch-shopping, I look at Casio, Armitron, etc. but the best and most comfortable digital watch to me is the Ironman; such was the case today. Comfortable and very accurate choice. I wish they would bring back one or two of the 'older' i-Control styles too . .

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, reliable, Value, Worn all the time

Well under $40 for a very reliable timepiece.

    Great Watch

  • Pros; Great all round watch for daily use, I have used the stop watch feature to keep track of billing times for hourly work I perform for clients. Cons. I have had the watch since Christmas 2008, just 14 months, a Christmas gift from my wife, the shoulder that holds the strap pin is very small and one has broken-off. I have checked this web site for a replacement parts site as I would purchase a replacement part if it were available. I have read a similar comment in a review of this product. Great watch otherwise. Vern.

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, stylish, Value, Worn all the time

The timex watch performs very well, has features that work well and keeps accurate time. Initial cost was very affordable.

    New Band

  • I really do love the watch it's self, but last year the band broke and i baught a new one of a simalar style and it is driving me nuts. I would still be useing this watch if i could find a replacement band. It is impossible. I have tried every where i can think of. So no i wouldnt recomend this watch to any friends because it is so useful, but you cant fix it when it breakes.

.comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, Value, Worn all the time

I cant repair it because i cant find the parts.

  • I bought this watch in another website and I must say... I'm really impressed by this watch. It has an easy to read display, indiglo, alarms, chronograph, and a lot more features. This won my heart!!

    Good value for money

    Good watch-not so good band

  • Great watch, dress or casual. Keeps accurate time and the features are useful. My only complaint is the band, I like the style and the fact that I don't have to fasten a buckle. However, the band WILL break on you. Hopefully you won't lose the watch. I've owned four of these watches and they go through a lot with me. I'm a professional pilot and have been all over the USA, Canada and Mexico with these watches. I've been out in lousy weather, heat and cold--never a glitch. Timex should improve the quality of the strap to make this Ironman a perfect piece. Battery life is great. I've only replaced a battery once in one of the four I've owned. Four stars instead of five just because of the band.

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Worn all the time

    weak band

    Accuracy, dependability

    Great watch, horrible strap

  • This watch itself is wonderful and reliable. Unfortunately, the watch bands do not last and are impossible to locate. My velcro band lasted less than 6 months and then the replacement plastic band broke after less than 6 month.s (and that was after it took me many months to actually find a replacement).

    .Battery life, Performance, reliable, Rugged

    watch band

    Great quality and reliable.

  • Newfangled

    Great Except For Condensation

  • Great watch except for the fact that 5 months after I got it the screen is unreadable due to condensation on the inside. Didn't even do that much swimming with it. Timex- this would be the perfect watch if this problem could be fixed.

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, stylish, Worn all the time

    vulnerable to condensation

  • MD3527

    Replacement band "JOKE"

  • My first Timex i still have 40 years later. This watch i like and the smaller one. BUT the strap is SOOO hard to replace, can you find one in Australia? And does it cost 1/3 of the price of the watch? I have 3 of these watches all in the draw with broken straps.

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read

strap replacement, cost of strap, availability of strap

I travel to Singapore a lot this is where i purchased 4 of these watches, can i find a strap for any of them there? NO

    Nice watch!

  • very nice watch love the indiglo feature and hourly chime as well as the date on front display.

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, stylish, Worn all the time

hard to unhook watch off your wrist.

my family has always trusted timex great watches!

  • Josh_162008

A bit large for my wrist

  • I replaced an older Timex Ironman watch with this one. The one I had was a bit smaller with a thinner band and it took a licking and kept on ticking for many years. The band finally broke, it wasn't the actual watch that died. I do wish I could have replaced the band, but the Ironman watches have built in bands. This watch was larger and clunkier than I expected. It said it was unisex or some such term to indicate it was for men and women. I really think this looks like a men's watch! On the plus side, because it is so huge, the numbers are easy to read without glasses.

.Rugged, Worn all the time, Battery life, easy to read, reliable

    Appearance, Size & weight

I wish you had a digital watch with a thinner, smaller band. I have to use the smallest setting, which is really hard to get the little pin into because the band is much less flexible there.

  • nbharb

    Great Watch, lousy design

  • Seems that you have to take the band off to replace the battery? And then good luck maintaining watertight integrity. Other than that? It's comfortable. Keeps time (duh). The light is great for travel / camping. So buy it as a "disposable" watch, and enjoy it for two years or so. Skip the new battery.

    One Great, Powerful Training Watch

  • I've had this watch for 4 years now, and I've loved it every day I've had it. It keeps great time; as a matter of fact, I ran the St. Jude 1/2 Marathon this past December, and it was within 1 second of the chip timing from the race. I would recommend this watch to anyone who is looking for dependable, affordable, reliable, multi-functional, endurable, nearly any kind of "ble" in a good way, watch.

  • nfinity22

    Perfect for the Mission

  • I have been training and running Triathlons for 6 years and love this watch. It is simple to operate and easy to read. It is comfortable to wear and makes a great every-day watch...even to the office.

.stylish, comfortable, easy to read, reliable, Value

Great value, outstanding product. Sells itself.

    Great Watch!

  • I received this watch as a gift for my birthday. It's great. You can swim in it, the indiglo is amazing, and it really performs well. The only con that I can think of are that after about 6 months, the watch began to make a quiet high pitched buzzing sound when I used the indiglo. Overall, it's a great watch.

.comfortable, easy to read, Performance, Worn all the time

    indiglo buzzes

Timex watches are rugged, reliable, and hold true to their name. Before I switched to Timex, I went through almost a watch a month. They had different problems, either condensation or battery life. Timex watches however, have none of these problems. I have had my Timex watch for almost a year, and it still works like the day I bought it. Thanks Timex!

    Timex fell apart

  • This watch fell apart after 24 months don't buy !!

Good product but engineered to fall apart. Better if they lasted longer.

Fulfill daily "time rationing" needs with this comfortable and s

  • There are too many distractions to keep me focused. I use the alarm settings to "bring me back" to checking the grill, ebay end of auctions, metering my walks and many many other routines. Sorry to say I haven't used the Lap timer nor the 100M water resistant capabilities but nice to know the functions are there if ever needed. _x000D__x000D_You won't be disappointed with this watch!

  • Snowfall7

Not Bad, but Could Be Better

  • Overall good features; however, the alarm choices (Daily, Weekday, or Weekend) should include a "Once" option for a one time use alarm. I have been buying Ironman Triathalon watches for upwards of 20 years. I miss the "Data Link" availability, as well as, miss the quality of the earlier models.

.comfortable, easy to read, Rugged, Value

Ironman series are usually the better of comparably priced watches from all manufacturers.

  • The watch is very light and comfortable. I just recieved it for Christmas, so I haven't had that much time to use it. I am use to the Timex Expedition layout of buttons, so performing functions in the dark is still a bit rough. The one thing that I use everyday on my old Expedition is the timers. This watch doesn't have any! I understand its not an Expedition, but don't "Ironmen" need alarms to... for those early morning runs or whatever? I love the expeditions, but the irreplacable wrist bands are a waist of $. I use to go through 3 bands and then the battery would where out. Then I'd get a new expedition. Now...the first band wears out and the watch is rendered useless. I'd really like to stay with what works (Timex watches), but if I have to throw away a perfectly good watch, because of a worn out band, I think I'm going to start looking elsewhere.

    Very accurate

  • I have compared the time as given by this watch with the government time for approximately two years and found that I was very lucky in getting this particular watch. It gains about 1.2 sec. per year average when measured against a reference having an accuracy of plus or minus 0.6 seconds; i.e., the differences range from 0.6 sec. fast to 1.8 sec. fast over two years when the 0.6 sec. uncertainly is considered.

  • Very Good Watch! I picked it up today at a mall. The original price was 50, but I Got it on sale for $39.75 I am amazed at what you can do, and it carries many features. I suggest the watch for ages 12-(How ever long you can live). This watch is great, and works really well! The screen is big and easy to read

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, stylish, Value, Worn all the time, tony but defenitley manly enough

I have had two watches, and expedition dress watch, and this ironman one. Both very reliable and awesome

    So so

  • Watch is very good, keeps time, however the watch band is very poor construction. Had mine less than 6 months when the watch band broke. I'm a nurse, so my watch takes a lot of abuse. Contacted customer service to check about a replacement band, hopefully they can help me out. Only suggestion to make me suggest this watch to a friend would be to make sure the watch band is designed better to prevent easy breakage, regardless of the abuse the watch takes.

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Value, Worn all the time

    watch band

Fix watch band design so it is less likely to break regardless the abuse it takes, and I may recommend it to a friend.

    Great product

  • Affordable, rugged, and very easy to use. Just got back into running seriously and needed something to time my training. Indiglo has come a long way since my last Ironman (ca. 1997). Really like the multiple alarms, and the fact that you can 'hide' unwanted features. Not sure the 'Occasion' feature is very useful though.

.comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, Value

Well-thought out products, sensible refinements of great original designs

    Fairy Tale Time

  • It lacks a better time. The 10 day week. Watch makers in Timex should contruct a better background behind the hands.

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the time, strap fits all.

    Performance, too many hours

    You know how.

  • Best watch i ever owned with great features until I woke up one morning and there was condensation on the inside of the face. Didn't think anything of it until I went swimming and lots of water got inside. Will be returning it but will still stay with Timez ironman because It is a good watch. Just do not know what the deal is with the leak.

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, Value, Worn all the time

    good watch. served me well.

    I LOVE my watch!!!

  • I LOVE my watch!!! What more needs to be said. This watch has traveled with me all over the country and has always kept me on time. The 30 lap memory is perfect for my training workouts. Sadly the date LED went bad so I sent it back for repairs and you sent me a brand new one! Now, I LOVE my NEW watch!!!

  • DanoO'Hare

    Poor strap quality.

  • Like the watch so well bought one for a friend as a gift. The small loop that holds the strap in place failed. Three months old.

  • Harlie B, Hawaii

    amazing watch

  • This has to be one of the most dependable watches, no condensation build up, battery failure, it's fairly shock resistant and I swim with it all the time. A really great tool to have!

    My Favorite Iron Man watch

  • I've been using this model of Iron Man watch for the last 12 years. Only 2 years ago did I replace it with another exactly the same. It's smart looking, with a ton of great features. It's an extremely accurate watch as well.
Tough, accurate, and waterproof up to 100 meters, then it's extremely easy to set and to see, with a nice large display. I love this watch!

  • Donald F, Kentucky

    Iron Man Triathlon

  • Perhaps the reviewers who cited broken bands were referring to another model Timex watch. I bought my Iron Man Triathlon at a Macy's retail store over two years ago, and all of its features have worked perfectly to date. Furthermore, the watch does NOT even HAVE a (separate) band (to break)! The Iron Man Triathlon's "band" is actually a resin extension of the case itself, which likewise is made of resin material. The top ring material is also resin. I might add that I can't imagine the stiff resin material, comprising the "band", breaking very soon!
