Back to Timex, again and again! When watch-shopping, I look at Casio, Armitron, etc. but the best and most comfortable digital watch to me is the Ironman; such was the case today. Comfortable and very accurate choice. I wish they would bring back one or two of the 'older' i-Control styles too . ..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, reliable, Value, Worn all the timeWell under $40 for a very reliable timepiece.

Great watch except for the fact that 5 months after I got it the screen is unreadable due to condensation on the inside. Didn't even do that much swimming with it. Pros; Great all round watch for daily use, I have used the stop watch feature to keep track of billing times for hourly work I perform for clients.
Cons. I have had the watch since Christmas 2008, just 14 months, a Christmas gift from my wife, the shoulder that holds the strap pin is very small and one has broken-off. I have checked this web site for a replacement parts site as I would purchase a replacement part if it were available. I have read a similar comment in a review of this product. Great watch otherwise. Vern..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeThe timex watch performs very well, has features that work well and keeps accurate time. Initial cost was very affordable.

I've had this watch for 4 years now, and I've loved it every day I've had it. It keeps great time; as a matter of fact, I ran the St. Jude 1/2 Marathon this past December, and it was within 1 second of the chip timing from the race. I would recommend this watch to anyone who is looking for dependable, affordable, reliable, multi-functional, endurable, nearly any kind of "ble" in a good way, watch.

Great watch, dress or casual. Keeps accurate time and the features are useful.
My only complaint is the band, I like the style and the fact that I don't have to fasten a buckle. However, the band WILL break on you. Hopefully you won't lose the watch. I've owned four of these watches and they go through a lot with me. I'm a professional pilot and have been all over the USA, Canada and Mexico with these watches. I've been out in lousy weather, heat and cold--never a glitch. Timex should improve the quality of the strap to make this Ironman a perfect piece.
Battery life is great. I've only replaced a battery once in one of the four I've owned.
Four stars instead of five just because of the band..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Worn all the timeweak bandAccuracy, dependability

Overall good features; however, the alarm choices (Daily, Weekday, or Weekend) should include a "Once" option for a one time use alarm. I have been buying Ironman Triathalon watches for upwards of 20 years. I miss the "Data Link" availability, as well as, miss the quality of the earlier models..comfortable, easy to read, Rugged, ValueIronman series are usually the better of comparably priced watches from all manufacturers.

Seems that you have to take the band off to replace the battery? And then good luck maintaining watertight integrity.
Other than that? It's comfortable. Keeps time (duh). The light is great for travel / camping.
So buy it as a "disposable" watch, and enjoy it for two years or so. Skip the new battery..easy to read, reliable, Worn all the timePerformance, replacing the battery

I replaced an older Timex Ironman watch with this one. The one I had was a bit smaller with a thinner band and it took a licking and kept on ticking for many years. The band finally broke, it wasn't the actual watch that died. I do wish I could have replaced the band, but the Ironman watches have built in bands.
This watch was larger and clunkier than I expected. It said it was unisex or some such term to indicate it was for men and women. I really think this looks like a men's watch!
On the plus side, because it is so huge, the numbers are easy to read without glasses..Rugged, Worn all the time, Battery life, easy to read, reliableAppearance, Size & weightI wish you had a digital watch with a thinner, smaller band. I have to use the smallest setting, which is really hard to get the little pin into because the band is much less flexible there.

I received this watch as a gift for my birthday. It's great. You can swim in it, the indiglo is amazing, and it really performs well. The only con that I can think of are that after about 6 months, the watch began to make a quiet high pitched buzzing sound when I used the indiglo. Overall, it's a great watch..comfortable, easy to read, Performance, Worn all the timeindiglo buzzesTimex watches are rugged, reliable, and hold true to their name. Before I switched to Timex, I went through almost a watch a month. They had different problems, either condensation or battery life. Timex watches however, have none of these problems. I have had my Timex watch for almost a year, and it still works like the day I bought it. Thanks Timex!

The watch is very light and comfortable. I just recieved it for Christmas, so I haven't had that much time to use it. I am use to the Timex Expedition layout of buttons, so performing functions in the dark is still a bit rough. The one thing that I use everyday on my old Expedition is the timers. This watch doesn't have any! I understand its not an Expedition, but don't "Ironmen" need alarms to... for those early morning runs or whatever?
I love the expeditions, but the irreplacable wrist bands are a waist of $. I use to go through 3 bands and then the battery would where out. Then I'd get a new expedition. Now...the first band wears out and the watch is rendered useless. I'd really like to stay with what works (Timex watches), but if I have to throw away a perfectly good watch, because of a worn out band, I think I'm going to start looking elsewhere..comfortable, easy to read, reliable, Worn all the timeno alarmsI love the expeditions, but the irreplacable wrist bands are a waist of $. I have compared the time as given by this watch with the government time for approximately two years and found that I was very lucky in getting this particular watch. It gains about 1.2 sec. per year average when measured against a reference having an accuracy of plus or minus 0.6 seconds; i.e., the differences range from 0.6 sec. fast to 1.8 sec. fast over
