“Not a good watch to have around water”

Review:

I have the silver version of this watch and it's been ruined by being around water. I have not showered or been swimming in it, it's just gotten wet when I've washed my hands or forgotten to remove it before washing dishes or taking a bath.

The "water resistant to 30 mm" rating is misleading. It does not mean that the watch can be taken into water down to the depth of 30 mm. It only means that the watch should be able to survive accidental splashing. DO NOT buy this watch if you need something that is essentially waterproof.not waterproofwater resistant to 30 mm is misleading.

“Battery Change”

Review:

Purchased the T2H3819J June of 2009. Had the battery changed at JCPenney on 03/07/2011.

After the battery change the Indiglo Night Light no longer lit.

Returned to JCPenney with this issue and was told that the bulb burned out. The bulb lit just before the battery change.

Noticed that the person who changed the battery had a great deal of difficulty removing the watch back. You think this may have damaged the bulb or stem switch?

Will return watch to Timex for evaluation and repair..Battery life, easy to read, Performance, reliable, indiglo night lightOverall for the price it is a good watch.

I have never had such an easy to read watch, I can go swimming with it or take a shower. I like the way you can see the numbers at a glance, this is one watch I will certainly buy in the future again, I had a 400 dollar watch and couldn`t read the numbers returned it and got this one. I`ve had this watch at least 5 years with never a problem, Love it,
