I bought this watch for my mother...and she loved it. The #'s are easy to read and the indiglo night light was an added bonus!!! She wanted a simple and dependable watch-this was a perfect purchace for her!! I have had this watch for many years and its one of my favorites. It is true what they say it takes a licking and keeps on ticking. I had to replace my battery and now I can't get the back to stay on.I wish I could by the back seperately but i can't find it. Overall I love this watch.it's really reliable

Purchased this watch for someone who can't see very well anymore and for the first time in two years he knows what time it is. He couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend this watch to all. Very large face and numbers, and very clear and easy to read in the dark. For someone who is having eye sight problems this is an excellent choice..stylish, Performance, comfortable, Worn all the time, Battery life, easy to read, Value, reliableHave owned several Timex watches and they are always reliable and excellent quality.

Absolutely love this watch. I have owned probably four of them in my lifetime (mid 50's now). The face is so easy to read. The black leather band is attractive. At night without my glasses I can't see our alarm clock, so the light up face is a must. I've never had a problem with this watch until now. I purchased it in March, 2011 and in July, 2011 the light up feature died. That has never happened before. I think it must be a fluke, as I've never had any problems with this model before..Battery life, easy to readlight up dial died after 5 monthsVery dependable (usually).

I grew up with Timex watches. When I needed a new watch, I took advantage of the Christmas sale.
I need an easy-reader and liked the classic look of the gold and black. However as a woman with a large wrist who wears men's watches, I found the band too short and poorly designed. The band was puffy, and there were many notches suitable for a small wrist (I couldn't imagine most men being able to use them). I used the next to the loosest notch, but then the buckle wasn't securely on the underside of my wrist, but was almost on the outer edge, and the second loop to secure the band wouldn't stay on the end of the band at all. It was just a disgusting mess of a closure. If anyone had used the loosest notch, this would have been even worse. Overall the band was too short, and the notching and fastening didn't work out for me. So disappointing..easy to read, ValueUncomfortable, band and fasteningProducts from earlier decades, good prices.

Unfortunately I recently lost the watch somewhere and now I have purchased a replacement.My father wore that watch day and night and he worked construction.
