Just got this to replace another alarm/dual time zone watch. Easy to set up. Band was very easy to adjust..comfortable, easy to read, stylish, ValueExcellent value for a time honored product name. "Timex...takes a licking and keeps on ticking"
Great watch and comfortable on the wrist. I especially like the light weight and I cannot tell that it is on my wrist..Rugged, stylish, Performance, comfortable, Worn all the time, Battery life, easy to read, reliable, Valuetoo small set buttons, instructions sheet terribleGood value for a good product. THis is my third timex.
I have owned this model watch for maybe 20 to 25 years. It is easy to read (I'm getting older), light weight, and very durable. I think I am on my third right now not because they broke but because after years of abuse the crystal was badly scratched on one and I thought I had lost the other. I have never written a review of a product before but I wanted to for this product. I wear the watch like a braclet and it is very light. I can afford a way more expensive watch but I don't have to worry about losing this watch because the price is reasonable. If you don't use the light all the time and don't have it beeping all the time the battery lasts like 4 or 5 years!! My watch gains .25 seconds per day by the way which I think is pretty accurate..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeGreat watch for a great price
The watch is a good value. I purchased my watch from a retailer instead of online. The watch band is too short. It needs to be at least one inch longer. I have worked with my hands all my life and I could hardly get the band over my hand with the adjustment all the way out. Watch is extremely light..easy to read, Performance, stylish, Worn all the time, size & weightUncomfortable, needs longer watch bandI have used Timex products for over 40 years and have never had one fail.
I rediscovered the Timex Atlantis just this year...I had forgotten about the original one I owned back in the late 1980's, which took quite the beating and I subsequently lost. The new version is no longer all stainless and a lot lighter, but somehow I still like it as much. I bought a couple of the old s.s. versions on ebay and I love those too. It's simple, comfortable and easy to use. Also love the fact that you don't have to "hold to reset" the chrono like many other Timex watches. Maybe this one is not as durable as the old s.s. versions, but I like it just as much..comfortable, easy to read, reliable, stylish, Valuejust a great little watch
I just opened the box on this watch. It seems to be a very dependable looking everyday watch and that is what I bought it for. The watch comes with an adjustable band. I'm used to wearing a metal flex band..Rugged, stylish, Performance, comfortable, Worn all the time, Battery life, easy to read, reliable, ValueOld reliable, dependable, keeps good time inexpensive and an asset to your appearance.
This watch I will love for life time! Perfect to wear, perfect price, and a perfect Indiglo night mode. Perfect all the time..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeTHIS Timex watch "Atlantis" is perfect!
The Atlantis series is indestructible. I bought one of these in late 1991 or early 1992. Since then I've had to replace the band twice; I just replaced the battery for the first time in 2008. In the course of its rough life, this watch has fallen three stories onto dry river rocks, has been run over by a pickup truck and an Olds Toronado, closed in a heavy wooden church-style door jamb, hit accidentally with a hammer several times and yet still works accurately and is still water proof. At one point, the face was nearly unreadable from deep scratches, which have since been worn down. The only signs of wear are purely cosmetic (the buttons have some rust and the paint is fading). My only complaint would be the appearance - I wish they made a ladies version with a narrower band. Regardless, I'm getting a new one exactly the same as the first, and keeping the original as a spare. Replacements bands have been very easy to find. One note, which is not neccesarily a criticism: the buttons on my example are very stiff to push. Holding the Indiglo button for an extended period can be uncomfortable. On the plus side, buttons are pressed by intention only, never by accident..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, Value, Worn all the timeAppearanceIt has lasted forever, far superior to watches of a newer design.
I received this watch as a Christmas gift and really like it. It's easy to read, it's very light...you don't even realize you're wearing it. Timex has always been a good value and seem to last forever. I will be using this watch for every day use..Rugged, Performance, comfortable, Worn all the time, easy to read, reliable
I have worn the Timex Atlantis 100 wrist watch for several years. I have owned over 12 of this model and will never own another model unless Timex discontinues it. Just in case this would happen I now have four of the Timex Atlantis 100 watches in a drawer. I have never had a problem with this model except that the face get scratched. When that happens, I get another. I also like the different modes, particularly the Chronograph..stylish, Performance, comfortable, Worn all the time, Battery life, easy to read, reliable, ValueI like everything about this watch.

I cannot review the watch I ordered--order #103-4730019-3820229--because annoyingly it has not arrived yet!! and am not so sure I'm still interested in the item. I called last week your customer service line and spoke to a lady by the name of Jean, who, upon hearing the fact that the watch had not arrived, blithely responded by saying that merchandise takes longer to get to Puerto Rico. This I cannoy understand, since it's ths same US Postal service that handles stuff to, say, Florida....Sincerely, ARSilva, MD
These watches have to be the toughest watches made. I was in the Army with a Pathfinder detachment, and we were doing a parachute operation on Ledo drop Zone at Ft. Benning, Ga. We were jumping from a Uh-1H Huey helicopter at 1500' and I was the Jumpmastering the operation. I caught my watchband on something in the aircraft and it broke, my Atlantis 100 fell out and I thought it was gone forever. But a month or two later we went back to Ledo dropzone for another jump. I was on the ground walking around the dropzone checking for obstacles before the jump and I actually found my watch laying there on the DZ, still working fine! This all happened around 1991 or so and the watch is still working today. You can't beat that for quality and toughness..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, ValueQuality watches that last a long time.
After 23 years of hard use and i mean very hard use my atlantis 100 has ended its hard life. It still works,i can't read it because the face has turned black from water under the screen.I got this watch in july of 1986 and thought it was just another watch that would not last long. I was wrong! In the 23 years with this watch it has gone through everthing. It has survived ten years of underground coal mining, two years of underground rock mining. It has fallen down a 1,800 foot vertical shaft bouncing off steel beams every 10 feet to the bottom into water.Has been in contact with electrical power a few times also. One time while working on automobile i dead shorted the wrist band on battery cable and severely burned my under wrist, but the watch was still working fine. my son use it in basic training in 93 in fort benining GA.Then in airborne training. When i got it back it steal worked fine! I have dropped it in 30 feet in water fishing before. It has had over 8,000 baths and showers. Hit with hammers and other tools while working over the years and keeps on ticking. It has outlasted a dozen wrist bands and dozens of batteries. So believe me this was the BEST WATCH I EVER OWNED !!!!!!I hope the new one will outlast my first.Maybe my grandchildren will own it?.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the time, always there working. The Atlantis 100 is for life!
