Review:

I just received my Timex Intelligent Quarz, and it is great. I also got mine with a great deal. The features are really neat. Being able to see temperature, tide and compass readings on an "old" style dial is very nice.
I am a little surprised though that they couldn't make the temperature sensor adjustable to compensate for body temperature. In the instructions they tell you to take the watch off and set it in the shade for a few minutes to get an accurate reading. Who is really going to do that??? Anyway, I'm sure a person could go through the trouble to use a regular temperature probe to find out what your average skin temp is at the wrist, (where you will where your watch), and try to remember that so you can deduct that number from the watch reading. I do own other watches, (which are digital display), which have temperature sensors and you can add or subtract a given number from the temperature setting so when the watch is worn it will automatically adjust to read minus your skin temp.
Enough of that. This is a pretty nice watch with cool features which display on an analog face. Even watching the hands move back and forth to indicate what it is doing is really amazing.
I would definitely say that even at the price shown here, the watch is worth it whether you are a gadget fanatic, an adventurer, or both, (like myself).
