Review:

This watch was given to me as a gift about three months ago. I use it almost everyday. I was very happy with this watch until the chrome plating on the underside of the watch started pitting away. It literally looks like microscopic craters where the chrome plating has fallen off exposing a disgusting brass like material underneath it.

Now if I work outside and break a sweat walking the trails, the watch will leave green marks on my wrist. :(

Timex, I really love you guys... I really do... You have always supplied me with highly durable watches through the years, but this happening after 3 months of use is unacceptable. My friend has the same watch only in the "bone" color and it too is now doing the same exact thing..comfortable, easy to read, stylish, Worn all the timeAppearance, weak metal finish causing wrists to turn green.Generally, you guys build some kickass wristwatches. This has been the first watch I have ever had a problem with.

I bought this watch last year with the white band in December and I loved it. It was my favorite watch. However, just two weeks ago the date suddenly stopped working. Less than a year after I got it. I was disappointed, but really loved the watch so I decided to get the blue strap version to replace it. This one appears to have problems, too -- the date is off-center and the crown does not easily move to the middle position. I don't know what to do at this point. I'm stuck with two of these watches that don't function properly..stylish, comfortable, Worn all the time, Battery life, easy to readQuality, date stopped working after 1 year, date off centerYou guys have a great reputation; I hope you can give me some advice as far as what to do.

I have had this watch for several months and have been happy with it. (No problems with a green wrist) I love the appearance of the face. It was a bit heavier than I expected and a bit larger but all in all I am very happy with my purchace..comfortable, easy to read, Rugged, stylish, Worn all the time, appearanceI am only rating Timex with a 7 because as much as like Timex watches they do not last long. My usual life expectancy is about 1 year.
