Review:
I got this watch so I could tell how much ground I was covering on my hikes. The pedometer is accurate once you set it for your actual stride and can be set for either walking or running. The watch is light due to the resin case and plastic crystal. (First Timex I have had with a plastic crystal so I don't know how that will work out.) You can if you want set time and distance goals in the watch and it will alarm at the halfway point which is a nice feature. In Crono mode the display toggles between the time and what other variable you have selected - distance, calories, etc, so itsn't really setup to use as a stop watch. I would rather be able to disable the automatic switching between displays. The nylon strap is actually a nylon facing sewn over a leather strap. The dial face is large and easy to read. The watch is too thick to wear comfortably with a cuffed dress shirt. Overall it is an execllant watch for what it was designed to do..comfortable, easy to readnot a good stop watchI've always used my Timex watches under the worst imagineable conditionsbut they have alwys kept time well and lasted long.

This watch does more than I expected. Rugged, handsome and fun to reveiw after workout or of road runs._x000D__x000D__x000D__x000D_Calibrating the distance takes some trail and error, however, no big deal._x000D__x000D_I would recommend this watch for off road runners and trail enthusiasts. Its great for street running too.
