“It broke!! When I went to change back to EST”

Watch was working fine until I tried to change the time. Then the knob or whatever you call the thing to change time, broke of so now the watch is worthless. I can't change time and if I use it the watch would collect water when I wash my hands. So now it is worthless. This is the second and the last Timex I have had do this. This one was less than a year old but the cost of sending it back makes it not worth trying to get it fixed. I bought an Nautica this time.

i have had several timex watches and the one i use most all day at work is the expedition with day and date. i also just bought a timex indiglo 50 meters and it looks real nice. looks like it would cost a lot more than i payed for it..comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeBattery lifei am on my 3rd one and they are easy to read, keep good time, look good, and i feel that the price can't be beet.

I've had this watch for years and NEVER had a problem. I can't remeber replacing the battery, but may have. Used it working and hunting in PA winters and sand and saltwater in FL fishing and boating. Takes a licking......
My band is ready to break so I'm going to buy another of the same watch instead of the band..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeprice versus reliability.
You need to make replacement bands cheaper though.

This watch has everything I was looking for. Looks great, easy to read and has both day & date. I have 2 issues with it. The case rust and the adjustment knob is so loose it will either adjust the time/date or stop if I am not careful how I insert my hand into my pocket!.stylish, comfortable, easy to read, ValueQuality, finish, case rust, time adjustment knob too looseThe local distributor here was very kind to replace the case for me the first time I went back to them. When the replacement case rust as well even when I wash the watch regularly as suggested by the service centre it gave me the impression of a poor design (material selection) or quality control. Hence my reluctance to try another one even though there are a few good looking models that caught my eyes. :(

relatively sturdy watch... i lifeguard for extra cash during the summer and this is the watch i used to time adult swim. This watch looses its accuracy over time but it sure is durable. I have swam with it for hours and their is no damage to the face or mechanism. Timex needs to develop a motion that DOESN"T TICK SO LOUD!!! i can hear this watch's ticking motion on the second hand from like ten or more feet away!!!.Battery life, easy to read, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeSize & weight, Uncomfortable, second hand ticks too loudfor the price you pay these watches are a pretty good value

The watch looks nice, and its easy to read. Two problems:
a) The knob release too easy, even accidentally stoping moving. I solved this putting a couple of small pieces of metal to hold the knob with the lateral metal.
b)The case is not stainless steel as you may believe and in less than a year started getting rust spots on the back of the case. I scratched a little to see the base metal and looks like bronce. I got really disapointed with this finding..comfortable, easy to read, stylishunreliable, the case back get rustIncomplete information on the product. You may believe that are buying stainless steel case when if fact its only paint.

I work a night shift at a small residential care home in the Santa Rosa, CA area. My duties include being on call (during the night) if one of the residents should need assistance and to prepare for the next day's activities. My wife's Aunt and Uncle gave me a gift of an Expedition "Indiglo" wrist watch. It has been very useful to me as I perform my duties while at work. I would very, very highly recommend this watch to anyone who is planning on purchasing a new watch as a gift or for themselves..all pros.no consThis watch has been very helpful to me when I am working.

my father bought this watch for me five years back when I was 19. Since then till today, I have been wearing this watch every single day. The dial is exceptionally easy to read. Being a geologist, I have to go on camping tours, and I never leave home without this. The indiglo and day-date features really come handy while in field. This is amazingly sweat, water, dust and drop resistant. The leather band gave way after three years of use. Got a new band and it's working fine. It's been five years and there has been no need for any servicing, repair or even a battery change..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, Value, Worn all the timeperformance along with great looks and value for money

This is one of my favorite Timex's of all time. I had one when I was a little kid, now I've got another. I've had this one for awhile and it's seen me through a lot. It takes a licking and keeps on ticking! Rugged and durable yet comfortable, lightweight, and, more importantly, attractive! This is a simple watch, perfect for minimalists like me who don't need or want anything fancy. I love the perpetual day/date and the fact that it is big enough to easily read. The Indiglo feature is easy to use and makes reading the time at night a simple task. The leather band is water resistant and holds up very well. Some people complain of the loud ticking, but I never found it to be loud. Also, the size of the watch is good for me. I don't have a wide wrist so huge watches don't look good on me, but this watch is the perfect size. A great watch, I'll definitely buy another one when the time comes (which definitely won't be soon!)..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the time, simple!You guys have always made durable, attractive watches. I love them for this and for their simplicity and value. Keep doin' what you're doin'!

Have been using this watch for about a year now, it is everything that I expected. It was nice to be able to select from the web site a watch that has the features that I wanted. It is extremely accurate even though I have accidentally dropped it a couples times.
It was listed as the battery lasting 10 years when I ordered it. That remains to be seen. I would be happy to get 4 or 5 years out of a battery.
So far as for durability, appearance and accuracy, I can see no less with this Timex than other watches I have that would cost almost $400. What more could anyone want from a wrist watch.What more would anyone need in a wrist watch.
