Have owned this watch for 2 yrs. Wear it everyday. Run jackhammers and tampers, swim with it on too. Most accurate and reliable watch I've ever had. Strap has even held up so far. Would buy another today, but this one is still going strong!.Performance, reliable, Rugged, Worn all the time, accurate

I was looking for a simple, everyday watch, and one that I could wear in the outdoors - i.e.g for overnight hikes. This seemed to fit the bill. However, the indiglo stopped working within a month. This was a key feature in my decision to purchase, so it hasn't worked out so well. Seems others have the same issue. Unfortunatley, I purchased the watch in another city, so was unable to return it.QualityWould not recommend as the watch does not perform as advertised - no indiglo.

Got this watch recently and am pleased with it. I really like the solid, sturdy look and feel of it. It is a little bulky, the case sticks up a decent amount. This seems to be due to its shock absorption qualities and also the bezel is raised to protect the crystal so hopefully the durability makes up for it. It sure looks like it will stand up to a lot of abuse.
One thing to note, the band, at least the one I got is not green or even olive, it is brown. This is fine with me, I think it looks better but the picture shown on Timex's website is not accurate and should be updated.
This is a sturdy, good looking field watch and a great value for the price..comfortable, easy to read, Rugged, ValueSize & weightHave had Timex watches my whole life and have never been disappointed.

I like the look of the watch and it keeps great time, but the indiglo stopped working almost immediately. The date doesn't always change. I can't rely on it for an accurate date, and it find it useless at night because of the indiglo not working. My spouse has a Timex with indiglo that is a real champ - 10 years and works great. I had hoped for the same with this watch..comfortable, easy to read, RuggedPerformance, unreliable date, indiglo no workingNot sure the quality is still there.

I really liked the stylish simplicity and the band for the watch and thought it a good buy for the first three weeks. Then it started to just stop working intermittently. I replaced the battery but that had no affect. It usually works but will just stop on occasion. Unfortunately I did not save my receipt because this watch isn't even a good paperweight. Either the design or the manufacturing of this watch is flawed.just doesn't workBought a basic watch and it just doesn't work. Timex is 0 for 1 in my book. Not enough data to dislike the brand but enough to be wary of buying another one.

Had the watch about a week, so far I like it a lot. Bought it for the 100m water resistance and the indiglo. If the indiglo stops working like some of the other reviews said I won't be happy..comfortable, easy to read, stylish, Value, Worn all the time

Review:
After joining the military and going through flight school, I decided to shy away from the cheaper less durable brands and reward myself with a Timex.
I wanted something subdued in color, extremely durable, water resistant, and easy to read so I bought this watch.
PROS:
-Easy to set the time and date (very convenient as I forget easily with all the time zone changes)
-East to read, especially with the Indiglo back lighting and fluorescent markings
-Good water resistance
-Survives a tough drop here and then
CONS:
-Was so loud that my wife made me take it off and toss it in a drawer so she could sleep
-The dial initially chaffed/dug into the back of my wrist.
-Back lighting lost ability glow
-The leather watch band, though attractive, stinks horribly after sweating
-The dial broke off toward the end of my first deployment, so I can no longer set the time or date, and I don't think it's fixable either, or under warranty (correct me if I'm wrong)
Liked it overall (my first Timex, ever), but I wouldn't buy this one it again, I'd search for a different model, or go back to buying the cheaper brand, haven't decided yet.

This watch meets all of my expectations. I've had it for a few weeks now. Keeps perfect time. Unlike another review it is very quiet. It's a basic endurable watch that keeps time. I also love the indiglo feature to view it at night. No bells and whistles but look great on my wrist. Very satisfied..Rugged, stylish, Performance, comfortable, Worn all the time, easy to read, Value, reliableI've had other Timex watches and they always work great. I especially like the indiglo feature

I have had this watch for over 2 years now. It's sharp looking, tough, and easy to read. It keeps very accurate time, but the date is usually a day behind, so I cannot trust the date feature, even when I have forwarded the time by 12 hours just in case the watch thinks it's AM and not PM time.... I'm not sure what's up with this. The indiglow still works great...
My only disappointment is the spring pins that hold the strap on will bend and the watch fall off occassionally if I fall down and catch myself (hand bent backward towards wrist). Seems like an old problem that Timex should be the first to solve--->getting rid of the archaic spring pins for watch straps, especially watches denoted as "expedition". These pins are easily lost and hard to find for sale without having to buy another band.
Overall, I really like this watch and I wear it daily. I have ruined watches costing 10x as much and this one is tough, inexpensive, and a really good value..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timespring pins that bend/strap comes off sometimesaccuracy, value, durability
