A treat for eyes and style

  • Very soothing green dial, and distinct numbers make it easy to read. The added bonus was the Indiglo in dark. The band is simply superb in style. Swede finish of the band make it very attractive, not sure of the durability though. When I purchased the watch, it was running. That means from the time the watch was made, to the time I bought it, battery was burning out. So I would suggest Timex, to ship watches with a battery stopper so that power does not drain out before customers purchase it. Thanks Aurobindo

  • Purchased this watch from my P.X about 5 months ago. I really like the style and thought timex was a brand that I would pay less and get high end quality. This watch lasted 3 weeks of non-physical every day use. Problem was not the battery and I threw away the receipt because I did not think I would need it. I mean it is a timex right? Cant' get it repaired because I don't have a receipt and cost of repair would be about the same as a new watch. So I just threw away my money. Disappointed in Timex. Won't make the same mistake again.

    Crown Falls Off Too Easy

  • I bought this watch in April 2013 to take on a trip to Mexico. I wanted a rugged watch that would stand up to some wear. The watch worked great, I snorkled, explored, all good, watch worked fine. So 2 months later Im home, still like the watch...look down and its stopped working and the crown has fallen off somewhere. So Im four months into this watch and its broke already. Ive searched the Timex website no real specific info on this. Not helpful at all. SO GET wife takes pity on me because Im going away on a boyscout outing, buys me another from Kohls, another expedition. She gets it home still in the box, I look at looks great right...WRONG!!! The crown was already gone from this one. It would appear that the watches have a real problem with the crowns falling off. This is more than coincidence, this is a real flaw in the watch so be careful. Ive looked at some of the manuals...obviously each day you need to push the crown in toward the case and wind it clockwise to be sure your crown is secure. Big flaw with this watch if you ask me.

    Crown fell off

  • I have two of these watches. The first, the crown fell off within the first week. I still had the receipt, so I took it back. I assumed it was a fluke. The second lasted 2 months before it fell off. Receipt is missing, go figure. I purchased another expedition model and the crown came off of it in 3 weeks. I have worn other iron man and expedition models for years. I am very disappointed in Timex. Quality seems to be slipping.
