    Can't belive the price

  • Here's the thing I love about Timexes: when you have the "itch" for a new watch, you can satisfy it for between 3-7 hours of paycheck worth of the average American's salary. Gotta say I love the Expedition Military Field, and I'm surprised there aren't more reviews of it. positives: Hands, markers, and hours are fully Lumed Indiglo if the lume is out of charge Good case size for 7" wrist! minute demarcation instead of hours. Never had a watch with this, it's easy to get used to. Intricate detailing on face - the cavities that the markers fit into, as well as the triangular 12 o'clock marking at a nice touch skeletal hour and minute hands give it that vintage feel Indiglo is great - perfect visibility with none of the viewing-angle limitations of indiglo digital Timexes in low or zero-light conditions, right on the crown. Leather band is SUPREMELY comfortable. This is really a $65 watch? Two keepers, one fixed one adjustable. Flexible connection at lugs makes it a nice fit on the wrist Grey face and brown band... this looks good with almost anything. Cons: wish it had a "night mode" like most digitals and some upper-end analog timexes date window is way too small, chops off top of digit lume is not great, but this is a $65 watch, and it has EL backlight mine had a small production error - dirt or a scratch, barely visible but annoying once noticed - near the center of the dial. Otherwise, what's not to love? next up is probably the classic military.

    Broke in one day

  • I bought this watch from a local jewler and the dial used to set the time fell off the first full day I wore it. They are going to replace it and Im going to give it another shot but I was not impressed with the first one.

    Great watch

  • This watch is fantastic. Simple yet stylish. One of my favorite in my rotation. Have worn it with everything from shorts to dress slacks, and my wife thinks it looks great. My mother in law even complimented me on it.

    Fantastic watch

  • I bought this watch because of the looks. I have to say it looks better in person. I get compliments on it wherever I go. I have a green "fisherman" sweater that my wife even says it looks great with..
This has become my go-to casual/dress casual watch. I switch it out every so often, but this one mainly stays on my wrist. No problems with the crown getting snagged or breaking. The one drawbackk is that it is more dificult to read with the Indi-Glo and the skeleton hands than reading the luminescent hands without the Indi-Glo.
