    rugged expedition field watch

  • I am giving this watch a one star rating because it was defective when I purchased it for my husband. He liked the watch, but had to return it because the light stayed on and he couldn't get it to turn/stay off. It also stopped working completely for a couple hours.

  • This watch was a gift from a friend of still on Active Duty. (I am a Retired/Disabled Master Chief Petty Officer 100% SC - T&P) My buddy and myself deployed together on NUMEROUS occasions in my 27 years TC Active Duty. Trust me, we absolutely depended upon accurate, consistent time keeping. Many times, not just our own lives depended on this oft overlooked detail; but several other Team Mates as well. I insisted that all on my Team insert/deploy with Timex watches. If a member did not have on or thought his particular timepiece was better, I got him a Timex and set him straight! This watch would have been an absolute treasured item for our line of work. I have had this particular gifted watch for over a year, and it has shown no signs of tearing down on me.I teach scuba and more times than I can recall, I have left the watch on since the class or individual being instructed would not be making any deep and/or lengthy dives until later in the class. I have worn this while clearing timber using both chain saw and ax. It seriously has "taken a lickin' " and thus far "keeps on tickin' " JOB WELL DONE TIMEX! HOOYAH! HOOYAH! HOOYAH!

    Much Respect,
