“Great Combo of Analog and Features”

Rated 4 / 5

Review:

I had a Timex analog/digital combination when I was younger and loved it. I broke my last analog Timex, and the T49828 is a great replacement. The features are all that I want, and the white face goes with anything I wear. The only downside I've found so far is summer sweat staining the band; I've used saddle soap a couple of times to clean it and it comes right back. Great purchase if you want a casual watch you can dress up and still take camping!.comfortable, easy to read, Performance, stylish, Worn all the timeleather band stains but can be cleanedQuality, features, rugged, and past satisfaction with several Timex products

“Last watch you will need to buy”

Review:

I have had mine for about 5 years. It is tough as nails, not to heavy, water, dust, dirt and mud proof. This is my second one. I had the first one about 8 years and took it to wal-mart to get the battery replaced and she used a HAMMER to close it and cracked the glass. It still worked but was no longer water proof. Great watch at a good price.

Digital was very easy to set and snyc with the analog. this is exactly what I wanted. both analog and digital are easy to read. Is a bit heavy, but I like the big face..easy to read, Performance, reliable, ValueUncomfortable, just a bit uncomfortable

“analog is good, digital isn't”

Review:

Overall this is a good watch. It is durable and keeps accurate time. However, the instructions for the digital are incredibly bad. There is nothing intuitive about setting the digital settings and that includes the date. I still haven't been able to figure out how to get the alarm not to go off at midnight each night, and I am not a technophobe or neophyte. If it weren't for the hieroglyphics which substitute as instructions for setting the digital components, I would easily recommend this watch..Performance, reliable, Worn all the timepoorly written instuctions, digital too difficult to programOverall good quality at a fair price

I wanted a watch that does have style, yet is reasonably priced and will allow me to keep track of different time zones. This watch is perfect! It is easy to read and set and is very comfortable to wear all day and all night..comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeTimex has always provided me with a great product for a reasonable about of money.

Review:

An excelent watch. I've been use this model for the past ten years, and it was a good experience, the design of the case, the light on the back, and the resistence to the elements, including water.

“Thicker and Heavier than my last 2 Expedition Combos”

Rated 3 / 5

Review:

I was disappointed that this Expedition Metal Combo is almost 2 times thicker and heavier than my last 2 Expedition Combos, even though from the picture it appeared to be identical except for minor cosmetic differences of the face design.
I only ordered it online because I could no longer find an Expedition Combo anywhere locally, including stores that used to carry them.
I am very disappointed that I cannot get another of the Expedition Combo watches that I like! It is less comfortable because of being so thick and heavy.

“Replacement Timex Expidition Analog/Digital”

4
Rated 4 / 5

Review:

This is a replacement Timex Expidition Analog/Digital purchased in 2008

The old watch (white face) is currently unavailable (8/11) and is slimmer and less bulky than the current replacement.

Wish Timex would make a dressier analog digital watch with a metal band..analog/digitalSize & weight, not a dress watchvalue

Review:

Just got this watch today. It is a replacement for one from another maker that died in less than a year. I have worn Timex for many years, with one or two exceptions, and they have always come through. My other timex is about 12 years old now. This model is a large, thick, heavy watch but is very comfortable. The larger dial makes it easy to read. Instructions for setting the watch are not difficult, if followed closely. The digital data is easily read except in poor lighting, but the Indiglo overcomes that, and I like the way it stays on for a few seconds without having to hold it. I didn't like the buckle band, but that was easily swapped for an Expedition velcro. The only complaint I have is that the second hand does not line up exactly on the hash marks as it marches around the dial.
