Seems OK - nothing great.

I bought it to replace an Expedition model that Timex apparently no longer makes. I don't like it as well as the older one. It's larger and heavier, and I had enough problems with catching the old one on things. The buttons also stick out more than the older one, and I was always inadvertently bumping the buttons on the old one into things and resetting things on the watch, so I suspect this one will be worse, with its larger buttons.

The old one also had a rubber wrist strap, and this one is leather, so I suspect it won't stand up that well to daily showers.

Being larger, it is a bit easier to read than the old one.

After ordering it direct from Timex, I found out I could have bought it locally for considerably less, and not had to wait for it.

It has a fixed wrist strap retaining loop near the buckle and a floating one. The floating one is already a big pain, as it keeps sliding off the end of the strap and then causing the end of the strap to catch on things. I will have to cut the end of the strap off and/or glue the floating strap loop in place.

Mainly I wanted the date and second time zone features, and don't care about features like stopwatch, alarm, countdown, etc.

Since I paid for it, I'll try it out, but I won't be surprised if I end up going out and buying (this time IN PERSON) another one that's less likely to catch on things..easy to read, Value, Worn all the time, multiple time zonesSize & weightgood value

I just purchased my 6th Timex Expedition. I love them and currently have 4 of them. No other watchmaker offers all the features available on the Expedition series. I could buy a much more expensive watch, but can't find any I like as much..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value

I love this watch!_x000D__x000D__x000D__x000D_In fact I have several in alternate colors. I'm somewhat of a watch collector and have many ultra expensive watches. But whenever I travel it's the Timex Expedition that goes with me. It's been to the Galapagos and even to North Korea. The dual times are wonderful when you're a world away from home. And the Indiglo is great for low light. _x000D__x000D__x000D__x000D_Stylish and rugged, it's perfect.

“Outstanding value and durability.”

Review:

I've been wearing the Timex Expedition series for 3 years now. Although I have a collection of expensive watches, it's the Timex I use day in and day out. I travel 300,000 miles a year so the multiple time zones are perfect for me. And the Indiglo is a great help at night.

The Timex has never let me down. I've only replaced a band and just wish I could find the original Expedition band, not a generic version.

It's by and far the best watch I own. Actually it's so good I own several of them..Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeneed original timex replacement bandsBest watch I've owned, including Tag and Chopard
