    Band is to small?

  • I love the watch but the band is to small. i'm not that big of guy but may have to take the watch back beacuse it just fits any suggestions?

    .easy to read

wish they handled the pounding that i put a watch through. but love the looks. is there a extenison for the band?

    Excellent Watch

  • I've been using digital Ironman models for about 15 years. I love going back to analog. The biggest problem was that to see the digital readout I needed my reading glasses. Hard to read while running... No problem with the analog. Solid feel. The case is heavy, but the band feels light. The folding clasp locks down, which is a big plus, the older friction close clasps would release from time to time, and once loosened was difficult to get to hold again. I found the band too long. I'm a big guy, but with relatively thin wrists, I had to pull 4 links for it to fit. I wish it had more than 1 alarm. I got this very heavily discounted at Walmart

    Very good

  • This watch is very good. And the shipping speed is fast.

    Great Watch

  • Really have enjoyed this watch. I like having a standard dial as opposed to a digital readout. The one con I have is that the battery lasted only 1.5 years instead of the 3 years shown in the spec. Additionally, I can't find any directions on how to remove the back to replace the battery.

.comfortable, easy to read, reliable, Rugged, Worn all the time

    Very pleased

  • I ordered the Metal Combo sight unseen. Usually I prefer to do a 'hands-on' evaluation of watches prior to purchase. My old ironman is on it's 4th battery and not long for this world; I needed a successor. The metal combo is extremely comfortable, yet functional and 'manly' at the same time. Received from in 1 day. Great job, and great product.

    great value; great service.

Perfect watch for all my needs, period.

  • I am in an envormental lab for a local utility, & we have timers all over the place, multi-tasking is essential in my job & the features of this watch fit perfectically into this setting, between the countdown timer (which allows me to walk away from a procedure if I'm on a break or preforming another task, it's a handy reminder that goes with me ), to the alarm & even the stopwatch are critical to my needs, i also like the analog face with the second hand, as I grew up with that type of watch. In a nutshell the best of both worlds.I own several of these watches as I am rough on them & use them in different settings & purposes from work, to yardwork & mechanical work, to one just to wake me up in the morning,as I'm a light sleeper & hate to be awakened by a loud alarm,& the alarm on this watch is just right.I also like the glass crystal on this type of Expedition,as I learned the hard way ,some models use plastic ones,& stratch up easely.

.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the time

    For all the reason above

    Exceeds Expectations

  • Purchased the Metal Combo for mission specific reasons. I needed a watch that I could wear 24/7 in many different environments, some very sketchy. I had to be able to tell time in all weather conditions going from casual/business/semiformal/formal events. The Metal Combo exceeds all my operational requirements. I will buy the two other models one with the brown band the other with the black band. Do not discontinue this watch. I plan to buy them for friends and family.

    Accurate and high value.

    Nice watch but...

  • Nice timepiece-feels great on the wrist and is one of the few combo watches that the digital second hand stays on time with the analog sweep hand. Handsome watch but as far as rugged, the bezel seems to be made of a soft metal as less than a day after normal wear it was showing dings. My real frustration is the function setting-Words cannot describe the frustration with the required inputs to properly adjust date, stopwatch etc. I am a licensed pilot and a software analyst and I find this process needlessly complicated. I can just imagine others. Nonetheless it's a good looking watch. I'm just cringing for the first time the crystal gets scratched. I bought extended protection from Walmart but Timex offers extended warranty for the same price and two years longer

.stylish, comfortable, easy to read, Value, reliable, size and weight

    not rugged

I don't think you can get better value in a watch for the price-they pack it in and I feel like they back the product

    nice watch

  • I like the watch. I live and work on a farm it held up well until I smashed my brothers Pontiac Sunfire, then the band broke.

    Got a bad one(?)

  • I ordered this watch through a very large corporate chain. It arrived no problem. The first month was good. Watch worked well in bad weather. 30 days after purchase it just stopped. Tried a battery change, still didn't want to tick. I returned it for a different watch. I have bought several Expedition watches over the years and they function flawless. Maybe quality control needs to be examined?

    Faulty pins

  • I absolutely love my Timex Expedition Metal Combo, but I can't seem to keep pins in it. The bracelet attachment at the bottom of the watch breaks a pin about every two months. I rely on my watch on a daily basis, but I can't find the pins to fit it anywhere. It is becoming a problem and I really don't want to have to go to another brand but if the problem can't be fixed I don't see any other choice.

    Love it

  • I have been a fan of the expedition watch since they came out. I love the combination analog and digital display. The only reason I have owned more than one is I am never without it on. I am on about my 5-6 one. They take a beating and over time I have replaced them because of cosmetic reasons, not because the watch quit working. There are a lot of design options. Same watch but different appearance, white face, black face, roman numerals, Arabic numbers, etc… I still have all of them in a drawer. In the past the only option was a leather or fabric band. I love the look of the leather band but over time due to sweat and other grim they wear out. I also work in an office and the fabric band was too casual. I had to replace the band after about 2 years. The different styles of face, colors and bands give you a lot of options. It can be sporty or look more formal. The introduction of the Expedition Metal Combo is a great choice for me. I really like the look of the black stainless steel watch and band. Great look for the office. I have had my current one for about two years and have no plans to give it up.

    Great price, even better watch

  • I've worn this watch 24/7 for the last 5 years and it has never missed a beat. I am an avid outdoorsman from Colorado, so this watch has seen blizzards, floods, many falls, mud, name it its been through it.
    -Easy to read
-Long Batterey life (still on the original battery)
-easy to adjust strap with a few tools
    -will last years of abuse

-can be a bit uncomfortable at times, not too bad though
