I own roughly 50 watches some very expensive and I purchased this Timex a couple of weeks ago because i was looking for an alarm analog watch ...well i am really surprised and very happy with this purchase. It is smaller than any watch that i own but really comfortable-i love the face color.. sort of a light beige with very light gray wavy lines running through it-the alarms are very easy to set (one for under 60 minutes and one for over) it is loud enough to use as my morning alarm clock. I just can't say enough good about this little beauty...oh and by the way this watch would work as a unisex watch as well. All this for a price under 50 bucks WOW...Thanks Timex
Ever since I saw the first “Easy Set Alarm Watch” commercial years ago on television, I knew this was the perfect watch for me. I’ve owned seven of these watches since then (with four currently surviving), and still think it is the ideal watch! The alarm is so easy to set, that I use it as a reminder throughout the day, as well as my primary alarm clock. It keeps me on-time for all of my appointments, and reminds me to turn off the water, remove things from the oven, etc.
Please keep these in your line!!!.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the time, fast & easy to set alarmGreat inovations, designs, practicality
I have been reduced to wearing this huge men's watch. The geek in me loves the Indiglo feature, the pratical woman loves the easy set alarm, but I cannot find it in a woman's watch. This will be my third, they just do not seem to handle battery changes well, that has been the death of the previous two watches. Still I give this watch 5 stars, because I am tough on watches, love the features and need the water resistance. Please do not discontinue this watch, I have a feeling you are because of how long it took me to find this Men's edition on the web, the stores do not have any easy set alarm watches where I live..easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the timeSize & weightindiglo, easy set alarm, water resistant
I've had a watch similar to this for 6 years now. The watch keeps great time, isn't cold on my wrist during the winter months and is still fashionable and functional. I'll never buy and "expensive" watch again with this type of quality._x000D__x000D_._x000D__x000D_My only concern is that I can't get a replacement leather band like the one on the watch. I've been to the retail outlets and none stock them so I guess I'm headed to Timex to see how to get one.
I'm ordering my third one in 8 years, I love the functionality. As an Occupational Therapist I use it to time therapy treatment sessions and modalities. I use as a reminder for cooking and to pick up the kids from practice. So useful I put up with its ugliness. Why can't they make this in a woman's watch ? We have so much more to time than men. I have to change out the watchband to make it more feminine. Its so very quick and simple to use. I wear out the batteries and they are hard to seat just right to make the beeper and light connect and function properly, but well worth it. I worry every year that they could quit making this gem and what would I do..Performance, reliable, RuggedAppearance, Size & weightgreat to time therapy sessions, treatments or separate modalities within the treatment sessions. I can go shopping and get reminders to move on to check out to get back in time to pick kids from whatever I dropped them off at. It is terribly ugly as a woman's watch. Why can't you make a smaller more feminine one. The web site is a horror to go through. Often if I can call and get a real person they can find what I want.Once you had this in a nurses style watch. what happened with that other than poor marketing and inability to locate it on the web site even when really trying to find it. Please make it easier to seat the battery when you change them. Last time it took the battery guy seven tries. I am replacing this second one because the bezel fell off and I can not longer set it. = this is the original version of your twist and pull.
Love it easy to read, and easy to set. only problem need a new band and pins can't find anywhere!!!!
so can use the watch old one broke.Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Rugged, stylish, Value, Worn all the time
Analog alarm watches (mechanical or quartz) used to be fairly common, but are now somewhat rare. Timex makes a very nice quartz model that you set with a bezel and a two detent alarm knob. Either as a 12 hour alarm or a 60 minute timer. It's accurate, loud enough to use as a travel alarm(plus the dial lights up with the alarm tone), reasonably priced and durable. Also the hour and minute hands are luminescent and the entire dial lights up with the indiglo feature by pressing the main crown. The date is also easy to set with a quick set feature (two detent crown pull for time or date). Battery lasts a long time and it's a common 2016 lithium battery that you can easily change yourself with a cheap jewelers screwdriver set.
I travel a lot between time zones and need an alarm. This watch is the best in simplicity and convenience for resetting zones and alerting me. The bells and whistles of most other alarm watches are needless complexities..easy to read, Performance, reliable, Worn all the time
I HAVE BOUGHT MORE THAN TEN OF THESE WATCHES, 4 I KEEP THE REST AS GIFTS. THEY WERE GIFTS AFTER I SHOWED THEM TO FRIENDS AND THEIR REPLY IS USUALLY SOMETHING LIKE "THAT WATCH IS COOL, IT'S ABOUT TIME !!! IF YOU DISCONTINUE THIS TYPE OF TIMEX, INDIGLO, EASY SET ALARM, YOU WOULD HAVE IN FACT PROVED THAT YOU HAVE NO INSTINCT WHATSOEVER. I DONT CARE WHAT THE SALES SHEETS SAY. NOTE ALL THE REVIEWS FOR THIS GREAT , SUPER EASY USEFUL TIMEPIECE. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE IT IN MANY OTHER STYLES AND COLORS. HOW ABOUT FLASHING RED FOR ALARM? YOU MUST KNOW THAT YOU HAVE TRUMPED THE MARKET ON THE EASE OF SETTING AN ALARM ON A WRISTWATCH. WELL DONE PEOPLE. GIL....you can set the alarm in 5 seconds !COMPARE JUST THE LOOKS OF THE TIMEXES TO CASIO OR ARMITRON ETC, EASILY APPERANT THAT YOU HAVE UNIQUE BUT CLASSIC LOOKS.
I'm a nurse. Always need/love help reminding me when it's time to do something. I've had 3 so far and RELY on the timer function which is so easy to set. Glad there's a "medium" size so I don't have to use the big "mens" diameter. I have an old one, and a newer one 'cause I never want to be without one. Almost tempted to get another to put away for "later" !! :).comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Value, Worn all the time, timer function is great! They last well; easy to read; LOVE the turn & pull timer.
I love this watch and show it to all my student nurses as it has a great alarm. Truly "set it and forget it". I use it for all the odd times medications. It is loud enough to use as an alarm clock on vacation. The indiglo button is bright enough to show the outline of furniture during power outages. I do have trouble w/ one of the functions (varies) not working after I change the battery but depend on the watch so much I bought two the last time to cover this problem._x000D__x000D_It is also waterproof (although I don't swim w/ it due to the leather band). There are not enough superlatives for this watch. It would be nice if it were easier to find on the website.
I have owned numerous alarm watches and this is by far the easiest alarm to set. Plus, it is tough watch. I work outside in the elements and for over a year the watch has stood up to everything I'm exposed to ... dust, dirt, mud, rain, ice, snow ... as one of the old Timex commercials said, "take a licken and keeps on ticken.".Battery life, comfortable, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, Value, easy to set & use alarmTough easy to use alarm watch. ... best I have ever owned.
Bought this watch about two years ago. Still think it's one of best looking watches I have ever owned! LOVE putting it on when I use it as my "dress" watch. The alarm function comes in handy, and is easy to use. Now for the downside...Although the watchband is attractive and being water resistant often comes in handy, I've had to use some glue to keep it together more than once. And as my old eyes have a harder time focusing on small text, the calendar date has become kind of useless without my cheaters, which - to be fair - is not unique to this watch. But I think the biggest disappointment was the Indiglo light, which worked GREAT the first 8 months (used it all the time at night), but then suddenly was reduced to a flicker. Put a new battery in, but no go on the glow...bummer. Otherwise I would have loved to give this watch 5 stars..Battery life, comfortable, Rugged, stylish, Valuelight function reliabilityAttractive, feature rich, pretty good value watches. Just wish the lights and bands would last a little longer.
