“Chrono/Split function is useless”

Review:

I purchased this as a classier looking Ironman training watch- the specs looked almost the same, so why not. Come to find out that, while you can take splits, you can't go back and review them. So you can mark lap 1, 2, 3, etc., but at the end of your workout you can only see the last lap and overall time. Previous splits are lost. Not sure why they advertise this feature since it is functionally useless. If you need a training watch, you'll need to get an Ironman..stylishsplits

After wearing for over a year, I accidentally washed my watch. It still works even after going through a complete wash cycle, with bleach. I have been very pleased with the watch and would recommend it to others..Battery life, easy to read, Performance, reliable, Rugged, Value, Worn all the timestrap sticks to my wrist. Not a 10 because at the end of the day I sometimes feel the rubber strap sticking to my wrist. My next one will have a cloth band.

“Great but, with problems”

Review:

I got this new style Timex Expedition about a week ago. I love the style of the watch. Sturdy round case. Nice rubber band. However less than a week after I got the watch two cracks have appeared in the crystal. I know the crystal recieved no shocks or blows. I have only worn the watch once. These occured in the area of the crystal that is cut-out to accomadate the Indiglo light button. Looking under magnification it is obvious these are stress fractures emanating from the edges of the cut-out. I haven't contacted Timex yet but hope this won't be an ongoing problem with this model. Because of the design of the crystal. I have had more than a few of the Timex Expedition watches over the years. They have always proven to be rugged and reliable. I can only hope that continues..Performance, Rugged, stylishQualityI have had many Timex brand watches over the years. They have all been quality pieces. Value priced. As well the Expedition series, which I have worn for 15 years at work, have all been rugged and reliable pieces.

I hope they will continue to make this watch in case I ever need to replace mine. I wear this watch all the time. This watch tales a lickin' and keeps on tickin. I have only used the alarm a few times. It works, but wish it was easier to set ( maybe if I read the microscopic instruction pamphlet...)_x000D__x000D_I would buy this watch again.
