TIMEX IRONMAN GPS White/White is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 43.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tried it out for the first time today I got this watch yesterday just in time for a 5k today. The computer setup was easy, it's nice that you can do your screen settings in the computer app rather than having to do it on the watch. It takes a couple of minutes to find GPS and it is big but otherwise I loved using it today. It vibrates every mile and it made noise and vibrated and told me what a great job I did after the race. It's nice being able to see my distance, pace, and time all in one place. Stopping the workout didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked but I'm sure it's just because it was the first time I'd used it and I was probably fumbling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, Easy, and Affordable I've been using the watch for a little over a week now and it's been great. I've used other GPS Watches in the past so the price is what initially drew me to this one, and it's well worth the money. If you are just looking for a nice GPS watch that is affordable (easily the cheapest on the market) that works great then this is the one for you. I've tried Running and Hiking with it so far. GPS has worked great every time, taking less than a minute to find signal. Seems to be accurate based off of my past watches too. Computer setup is easy and you can be out the door running in no time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Watch For The Price I bought this to give my phone battery a break. My original idea was to buy a GPS based cycling computer, but they're expensive (even the low end models) and I would have to buy a mounting system for each of my bikes (N+1). This watch is a great option, giving me up-to-date ride data, without having to pull my phone out of my pocket (and even risk dropping it). Is it perfect? No. But for the price, it's brilliant. What's Good: Inexpensive. Good quality. Light. Simple to use. My Wish List: • Some sort of wireless connection with a phone version of the desktop app. • Auto stop/start feature. I get stuck at red lights for up to 5 mins.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the watch for me I like that the watch is basic and intuitive. It is not difficult to use. It is big, but it is fine to wear. I like the large time and the ability to see the day and date. I used it for a run today, and it seemed as accurate as the app on my phone that I was using. It is my first GPS watch. I already enjoy this watch. I had a problem linking it to the computer, but when I called Timex they walked me through the set up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A step backwards I ordered this watch as soon as it was released. I've been using the Timex M434 GPS since 2010. I really like it and would still be using it but the battery doesn't hold a charge for very long anymore. All I need and use in a GPS watch is time, distance and pace. Unfortunately this new Ironman fails on distance and pace. I have used it on various long and short runs. It is no faster locking on to a signal than my old Timex, sometimes up to 2 minutes for a lock, on a cloudless sunny day. On a recent known distance 18 mile run it had me at 19.6 miles which in turn throws the pace tracking completely off. On another run of 5.25 miles it had a reading of 4.14 miles, again pace could not be accurately measured. Sadly this watch just does not accurately measure the basic functions of a GPS watch and is useless as a training device.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gps not working I was excited to get this watch but I can not get the watch to locate or lock on to a satellite. Followed the online directions and used the users guide but still no luck. Anybody out there having the same issue?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Easy to use, but inaccurate I've had this for 5 days and have used it on two 4.5 mile runs. Love the features, the notifications, and the software on the computer. Links with third party websites with ease. The problem is that it has been inaccurate. The distance on the first run was off by about 3.5% and then 7% on the second run. Doesn't sound like a lot but it makes a huge difference when you are using this to assist with pace and training. 7% is a huge deal. That turns a 8:15 mile into an 8:47 mile. When I view my running map from the watch it's off by as much as 50 meters from where I was actually running. I've checked distance against my car, google maps, and other gps units, and there is clearly a problem. I've contacted customer service and am waiting for their reply. Hopefully there is a solution because what's the purpose of a GPS watch if it's not accurate...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Timex doesn't get it right again (again) The band new Timex very reasonably priced GPS watch is a disappointment. When will timex finally make a great all around GPS watch. It's been yeas now since the technology has became available but Timex still makes sub-par GPS WATCHES. Great price for sure but too big, too long to connect to GPS, and not accurate. I'm a huge Timex fan and have many, many non-GPSTimex watches and would love to see them get it right!
