Rated 5 out of 5 by MarkB from This Watch Looks Even Better in Person I have small wrists and it's usually pretty hard for me to find a guy's watch that doesn't look ridiculously big when I wear it. The Waterbury is slightly smaller than most men's watches these days and it is absolutely perfect fit for me. The watch looks better “in person” than it does in the pictures on the Web. The indiglo feature looks gorgeous in total darkness and the watch is extremely accurate at keeping time. I've had it for about three weeks now and last night I compared it to an atomic clock that I set The Waterbury by. Over the past three weeks The Waterbury has not skipped back or forth even one single second. Wow! Pros: - Forgettably comfortable, not too large or heavy - Extremely accurate at keeping the time - It looks great, the leather strap gives it a nice touch - Easy to read even in low light when you don't use the Indiglo backlight - Indliglo dial backlight is there when you need it and it looks awesome in the dark - Slightly smaller form factor than most men's watches these days, which may be beneficial for those of us with smaller build. - Made by an American company with rich history (I love Americana) - Excellent value at this price point Cons: None. I can't find anything wrong or negative about this watch. Just a side note: I've seen people on the Internet stating that Timex watches tick loudly. I did not find the ticking noticeably louder than in most quartz watches. To me the ticking means that the watch has a heart and the heart is beating, so it's a good thing :) By the way, the ticking is almost inaudible once the watch is on your wrist.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rags from Fashion Watch After opening this watch, my first impressions were great. Band, dial, case all look awesome together. The first thing I always examine on a quartz watch is to see if the second hand matches up with the second tick markers - and it looked that it did. It is after wearing the watch and examining it with a critical eye that it came into focus what this really is - a fashion watch. The tick markers did not match completely - in fact from the .45 second mark to the .15 it was off quite a bit. I could have lived with it. But what really turned me off was while doing a project on my workbench I looked at the watch and it had stopped running!! The crown had come unfastened by making contact with my wrist. It does have a big crown and it protrudes further than I imagined from the case. The crown really needs a protective casing. It is not a defect in the watch - just the oversize design. It doesn't take too many times of this happening (just once for me) before you can't trust the watch telling the right time. That is why I sent it back. It is a good-looking watch. I wish the hands were a bit bigger and also wish it was luminous. It's a big, thick watch. I could have lived with it and it probably would have been fine. But just not what I was looking for, overall. It is a fashion watch that looks good.
