For this autumnal look (as indicated by the presence of my brand-new light-up Porch Pumpkin; man, am I ever excited about that thing), which I put together for an upcoming Jordan In The House segment, I started with comfortable separates: a cozy grey shirt and navy cords. This summer I (along with the rest of the world) was all about the colored denim, but now that fall is most certainly present and accounted for I’m super into skinny cords in jewel-tone shades.
Next step: dressing up the look with a burnt-orange-and-black scarf, a matching watch with a sporty stripe (love it), a Vivienne Westwood bag that was a hand-me-down from my mom, and a gorgeous twist on menswear-inspired loafers.
And then once we were done shooting the first segment, I just went ahead and left this outfit on for the next one. And then kept it on for dinner. And thought about wearing it the next day. (I may even be wearing it now; I’m not telling.)
On me: Timex Weekender Slip-Thru, Gap Body shirt, Old Navy Rockstar Denim corduroys, Royse Boots c/o Timo Weiland for TSUBO, H&M scarf, Vivienne Westwood purse, Double-Link Status Necklace (worn as bracelet) c/o Roman Luxe, Elizabeth & James Fairfax sunglasses, Kyler by Joy O. earrings.
