Today was a must-get-out-of-the-house-quick day. Makeup? No. Styled hair? Not even a little bit.
You know what that means?
A hat.
I picked up this emerald-green rancher-style fedora at Anthropologie because lately there are many – oh, so many – mornings where I want to go a little incognito, and while a baseball cap would probably do the trick…how much more fun is an emerald-green rancher-style fedora?
The other pieces I wore for my early-morning call time at the BetterTV studios: tired-eyes-concealing sunglasses, a slouchy cashmere sweater (it’s chilly out there), cropped, tailored trousers (for a little bit of polish), ankle boots, one piece of statement jewelry, and a boyfriend-style black Timex that I feel fairly certain my husband is going to steal from me.
