Tuesday’s Jordan In The House shoot involved things like horses, snowball-esque chickens (no joke; I wanted to put one in my pocket and tote it on home with me) and zebus (look it up. No, really. It’s so cute).
So what I ended up wearing was a little bit more about function than form. But that doesn’t mean I couldn’t break out the boots! (I made the very serious mistake of wearing bootcut jeans that hid the pattern unless I…you know, yanked them up for a picture. So there you go.)
I was all about neon yellow this summer, and my fixation appears to be staying strong through fall…but now I’m pairing my a single bright piece with neutrals and cozy, toned-down patterns (like that tartan scarf).
For accessories, I went for pieces that were a little glam…yet still looked like they made sense for a trek through muddy fields, like a prettier-than-your-average-rucksack bag, crystal-and-horn earrings, and a boyfriend-style watch with a bracelet strap.
On me: Timex Intelligent Quartz Fly-Back Chronograph Sport, Forever 21 cardigan and earrings, Hudson jeans, H&M scarf, GANT sunglasses, backpack c/o UGG Australia, Frye Company boots.
