DIY: Scary Terrariums

I love this DIY: it’s easy, inexpensive, and can be used to decorate your home in a whole bunch of different ways. Try using a few Scary Terrariums as centerpieces for a Halloween-themed dinner table, lining a window with them, or putting LED tealights in them and using them to illuminate your walkway.

You start with a regular old Mason jar with a screw-on top (I used the oversized ones because I wanted to be able to incorporate some large-ish skeletons I’d found at Michaels).

Glue a little faux moss into the lid.

Use glue to affix whatever decorations you have handy (I went for skeletons, twigs, and plastic spiders).

Screw on the top…

And add a tealight if you want a little extra atmosphere (either next to the terrariums or right inside).

Happy Halloween!
