Black and Blue

Too late in the season to wear a blue-and-white striped silk dress?
I think no.
I've had this gorgeous dress kicking around in my closet for awhile now and have been dying to wear it, and only just found the right occasion: a JITH segment shot at jewelry showroom Succarra.
But yeah, it's a bit summery for September, so I decided to toughen all that floaty sweetness up with black leather accessories: a structured purse, black-and-white pumps, my husband’s sunglasses (which I wear so often that we may as well just go ahead and call them "mine")...
...and, oh yes, a black leather jacket (for after sundown).
A simple silver watch serves as the perfect mid-point between the feminine dress and all that black leather, and ties together the whole look nicely.
