Rated 1 out of 5 by teresa.skaar from Terrible Product I bought this watch in January. I am an avid runner and wanted something with more style than the fit bits, but similar functionality. It's a handsome watch, but nothing more. It doesn't keep time with accuracy. My watch was regularly 10-15 minutes off. The distance, even after much calibrating, is disappointingly inaccurate. The app often failed to upload, and then quit syncing all together. Don't waste your money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mr unimpressed from timex metropolitan The distance tracking is way off and inconsistent. Even when I try to calibrate the steps, it doesn't improve the accuracy. All you can adjust is the % it's off by + or -25% it's off by more than 50%. For a sports watch it's a heavy joke. The band is either tight or loose no perfect adjustments. It looks nice and keeps good time, that's it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cmatlosz from Love IT! The sheer simplicity of this complicated movement/electronics is amazing. It looks like a regular mechanical movement and no one knows unless i tell em, just how sophisticated this device is. Hats off to Timex for coming up with an innovative watch in a sea of me too supposedly smart watches. I have returned three of the multi-hundred dollar watches for failure to really do anything special. This is unique!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nick from Stylish Look and Excellent Functionality! This product is a combination of really good look and really good functionality. I've owned this watch for a month and I'm so glad that I bought it. Just using it when I'm going to school, simply the whole day! Some days earlier was the application update released and it became better, because the app is more summary. I'm not a stickler but I think, this is a really awesome product to use daily.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Pelias808 from Good Looking Watch It is just "good looking". The distance measure/tracker is highly inaccurate. GPS type distance measure/tracker would be a good adjustment for the wristwatch or the app. I would recommend this watch only for its appearance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by sheriva from Terrible pedometer The watch is nice looking, but it does not even come close to tracking steps accurately. We changed the sensitivity of the pedometer through the phone app multiple times to no avail. The phone app is not very good either. Not worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jase from After a 40 year gap... Timex still ticking: strong I haven’t worn a watch for 40 years, so when I decided recently to give it another try, I started looking with Timex. Not a surprise, as I’ve had many, starting with my first watch as a young boy. I subscribed on the website, and shortly thereafter, received a great promotion offer for members. Wow, how things have things have changed -- so many choices. I decided on a Waterbury Chronograph (#TW2P95500), a beautiful thing. Unfortunately, it went out-of-stock before I had a chance to order. Still wanting to take advantage of the promo, I decided to try this Metropolitan+ Activity Tracking model (#TW2P99000ZA). Timex shipped it to me in less than a week. I was super happy with the Metropolitan+: great size, fit and finish, a sturdy and awesome quick-release metal band, and it has an overall heft that I like. The movement and alignment is what I would expect in this price range, not perfect but pretty sharp. Being afflicted with a pretty small wrist, I wish the adjustments on the metal band were a bit more flexible, but it’s working for me. I downloaded the “Timex Connected” app and within a minute or two had the watch setup and syncing perfectly with my Android phone. After having it for only a few days, the tracking of activity (steps/distance/sleep) was pretty impressively accurate, but I noticed that the INDIGLO feature had stopped working. I contacted Timex immediately, and given how short a time I had the watch, they agreed to just send me out a replacement, no charge. Heck, I got the new one in a couple days -- even before I had a chance to ship the defective one back. Impressive! My experience with the new one has been the same, working flawlessly, and have received a number of compliments. The Metropolitan+ looks compelling, but not ostentatious or gaudy -- it’s classy -- the activity tracking and app are working great for me, and… oh yeah, it keeps great time. Well done Timex! I’m still itching for that Waterbury Chronograph, and looking at sport watches too – just a matter of time. (pun intended) P.S. I don’t write many reviews, but when I do, it’s Dos Equ… (sorry, got of track there), when I do I’m pretty direct for good or bad. I’ve said plenty good here; bad, I got nuthin.
