Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch I bought the white band and rose gold. i love Timex. Great and true story when my son was two I bought a Timex, very inexpensive. I was out with my kids and my son asked if he could wear it. Thinking it was cute I let him. He, by the way was playing in the sandbox at the time. When he came In that evening I asked him. " Christopher, where is Mommy's watch? Proudly he announced that he had buried it. The next morning I went out and raked the sandbox but found nothing. I bought a new watch. After the winter passed and it was time to fill the box with fresh sand I began to rake sand in the process I found the buried watch. STILL TICKING. Christopher is 23 now and I'm still wearing Timex.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well-built but tough watch to read It's a beautiful Timex watch but two things I didn't realize until I ordered it. 1) The Indiglo backlight is tough to read. The backlit shows a silhouette of the world map with the hour hands barely indistinguishable between the shadows. It's not an easy watch to read the time even with the Indiglo backlight. 2) You can clearly see the world cities on the watch face in the photos, but again, they are very tough to read when the watch is on your wrist (your experience may vary, I have average eyesight and occasionally prefer reading glasses). The watch is beautiful and the band is very nice. It just wasn't the right Timex for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great watch This watch looks fresh, clean, and summery on the wrist. It's easy to read, even at night due to the in the indiglo backlight. And most importantly, it keeps accurate time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A fair watch for an everyday kicker Remember the old adage, "It takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'"? well, once again this is a fair assessment for this particular model. In typical Timex fashion, the watch exudes value for the [strict] budget conscious and a particular look I was seeking; however, the attention to critical details such as a well written manual appropriate to the specific model, buttons that function correctly and with finesse. Here's the thing, if you're concerned about the finish and longevity of the function buttons wear this watch as a dress up watch--it looks great and feels good on the wrist (if anyone asks you what the buttons accomplish--nod your head as if you didn't hear them). If you're wearing the watch as a work watch expect the lifespan as to finish and scratch inhibition to be limited. Finally, am I expecting too much from a Timex? probably so, however, to break the mold Timex should perhaps make a budget line (as this model) and think about a higher end line to escape the current mindset of the watch enthusiast.
